NO BUT OKAY LIKE
The fucking things I can’t even imagine they would dream of. Like, especially Les???? Man’s created an entire race of people could you imagine what fucking things go on inside his dreams like???? Morpheus would fucking love him and my god they would both be such nerds
I bet they would just pick the randomest shit and be like okay but what do you think of this entirely confusing concept to mortal minds like????? And just the discussion about existence itself respectively????
God what kind of fucking nightmares do you think he could even give them at this point??????????
To timeless beings who have eons of existence and knowledge who are both creators in their own right
God I bet they’d never shut up
Les - I love you so much I wanna punch you in the face
"Shouldn't that be the other way around, my darling?"
Syraxian brainrot hit me at this hour so you get a mild ramble I had on Discord
Thinking so much about the fact that Celeste doesn’t become jaded or hold grudges because of her history, despite the fact that it would be entirely reasonable for her to do so. She holds onto the kindness and love that she’s known for because she knows she’d become something she isn’t if she lost those. And she took a long time to process everything that had happened to her, and still found herself wanting to repair or make bonds.
“Look, you’re either going to help, or you aren’t. Which one is it going to be?” (Yeet, for Strange of course)
first impressions starters. | accepting!
“Well, of course I’m going to help. Do you really think I would just stand by?” Lesthael stopped himself from rolling his eyes, but a hint of a smirk had crossed onto his features as he looked at his worried doppelganger.
It had just been an off-handed visit to Earth; nothing unusual or out of the ordinary for him to do, given that he was quite fond of the planet. But of course, he had a lovely habit of attempting to sniff out trouble if he could, and he had found it very quickly. Something akin to magic had caught his senses, and he decided to go poking his nose in whatever business it was that involved such magic that he wasn’t yet aware of.
Poking around led to where he found this doppelganger of his. Human, absolutely, that he had no doubts of, but the magical prowess this man controlled was something to marvel at, although he knew it wasn’t uncommon for humans to be gifted in such arts. Lesthael wasn’t entirely sure of what was going on at present, but he could at least tell that it threatened people, given this stranger’s asking him for help in his own way.
So he summoned his sword to his hand, that familiar, obsidian-black longsword, trailing his fingers along it with that exhilirating feeling of lightning magic travelling between his fingertips and the sword with a sigh, he readied himself.
“I’m no bystander.”
First Impressions sentence starters
“You’re not… how I thought you’d be.”
“Is this what you’re really like, or was that an act?”
“I need to know this is for real. If you’re not genuine, tell me right now.”
“You’re… good at that.”
“I didn’t realize you were - maybe we should start again. I’m [name].”
“So this is what the (in)famous [Name] is like behind closed doors.”
“You have a lot of experience with this.”
“Do you know what people say about you?”
“You’re just like they said.”
“Why don’t you correct them? When people talk about you, and they’re wrong?”
“I thought they were exaggerating about you.”
“I’ve wanted to meet you for a long time.”
“Am I safe with you?”
“Do you mean that?”
“I’m just trying to figure out why you’re here.”
“What made you get into this/that line of work?”
“Look, you’re either going to help, or you aren’t. Which one is it going to be?”
“You … you chose me.”
“I… no, nothing. I just didn’t realize you were brave.”
“You’re going to get yourself killed/fired, you know.”
“Have you always been like that?”
“That was kind.”
“That was good of you.”
“That was stupid.”
“You didn’t have to do that. But you did.”
“You were there. You didn’t have to be.”
“I think .. I have you to thank, for this.”
“I wouldn’t be here without you.”
“I wouldn’t have been there if it weren’t for you.”
//so I haven’t touched this blog in... a decent while, however, anybody who’s still stickin’ around & have known of The Syraxians for any length of time, I’ve made a couple of decisions regarding one OC:
Elysia. Or rather, Celeste. Her name and faceclaim have changed. I’m also working on rewriting a couple of things about her backstory, too.
It'd been quite a while since HYDRA had sent Viper on a mission that had gotten this out of hand. Her and her target were in public now and she'd known this wasn't going to be easy but her target had thrown her out of the window into the street and well - people complicated things. Media complicated things. No doubt HYDRA would give her a talking to because of all the shit that was happening in the public eye currently. Still, she had a mission to complete and so she got back up and ready to fight.
The fight lasted only a few more minutes as Viper finally sunk her dagger into her target and she made sure to grab what she needed off their body before sneaking off into an alley, glad that her mask was up as she slipped into the shadows. She was too exhausted to really teleport unless she needed to and after making sure no one was following her, she made another turn to head back to where she needed to be. Not that anyone would be particularly waiting for her; HYDRA knew she would come back when she was ready to unless it was a time restricted missions.
As she turned the next corner, she noticed a quick movement behind her and she immediately spun around to press her back against the wall, her hand immediately on her gun as she took in her surroundings.

He recognised that look as she glanced around them both - she was already thinking about how to get away, clever thing. He would’ve done the same, to be quite fair, you always have to keep your exits covered. Can’t end up backed into a corner. He was incredibly curious as to how she’d get away, though. She definitely looked human, but being from another world himself, and having a vague idea of the folks who lived on Earth, Salakir knew better than to presume that she didn’t have several tricks up her sleeve.
Idly leaning against the closest wall, head tilted to the left with a look that could only really be described as reading someone, Salakir quickly mentally went through a list of excuses. Not that he’d really use any of them, quite frankly, the truth of him being a nosy bastard would be hilariously strange enough, but it’s always good to have backups just in case. It’d definitely be a fun story to tell when he got home - ‘Oh yeah, I got into some fun trouble while messing around on Earth; bumped into another assassin-type there, got nosy, cornered ‘em and had a chat’ - once again hilariously strange, but oh-so-true nonetheless. About 5 seconds had passed total before Salakir realised he probably should’ve answered the stranger’s question. And so he hit out with the truth: “I was in the area and I heard your little scuffle back there,” he vaguely gestured behind him; the way they’d both came, “got nosy so I thought I’d follow. You’re not in trouble or anything, trust me, I’ve no authority that way in the slightest, but it definitely was interesting to catch onto the tail-end of that.” He took in a quick and quiet breath, smirking just a little that time. “Nice work, though. The poor bastard must’ve really deserved it, judging by how deep your blade went. Professional, are you?”

Salakir was a curious man at best - and a dangerously nosy one at worst. The wider universe fascinated him just as much as Fai’aerkran did, and if the rest of existence was anything like home, then there was an awful lot to be nosy about. Take humanity and their world, for instance. So much history and conflict. And the combination: a history of conflict. Wars, battles, even petty little disagreements. Scale didn’t matter; Salakir was always interested in what drove people to conflict, or else the universe wouldn’t need assassins like him to keep some of them going. He’d been idly milling about, being semi-useless in his own opinion, when he’d picked up on a fight happening not too far from where he was (to be fair to himself, he had heard glass shattering when some other passersby hadn’t; mental note for himself later) and had immediately and silently made his merry way towards it. He blended in well with crowds, gliding through and between people with ease, keeping an ear out for the noises of the fight before they fell silent within minutes.
Minutes didn’t mean truce. Minutes meant somebody won. In the blink of an eye, he took to higher ground to get a better look. And that’s when he clocked the body, and what seemed to be the victor of the fight quickly looking for something to grab off of the now blantantly dead loser of the fight. Wasn’t his job to care about that guy - didn’t know the bugger anyways, and he knew plenty of dead people who deserved to die - although to be fair, it also wasn’t his job to stick his nose in other folks’ business but here he was... What he was going to do, however, was keep an eye on the victor.
Now, had he been smart about it - he would’ve contacted Halcyon to get details. But Salakir’s pride got the better of him, and he figured that he’d find out the hard, fun way. He kept himself hidden for a decent while while this figure snuck away from their recent kill, Salakir himself gradually lowering down from where he was until he felt safe and isolated enough to make himself known to them. He kicked up a bit of dust behind him, making sure the sound of his boot shuffling across the floor to do so was loud enough for her to hear, and simply raised a brow with a curious half-grin as the mystery figure turned around, watching their hand reach for a gun. “Well, how do you do, stranger?” Cocky arsehole.
OH LITTLE FLY, WHERE SHALL YOU GO? THERE’S A LOT MORE DANGER IN THAT SMILE THAN I THINK YOU KNOW.
(I missed Kalmaer’s “birth”day by a couple of days, so have a moodboard!!)
Relmatis Caerdanin. Ice and Oceans. That one feels much more than he lets on.
Emotion-based magic is just…10/10. Characters causing destruction in a rage, only to be horrified by what they’ve done? Excellent. Characters being ten times stronger when someone they love is in danger? Wonderful. Characters claiming they don’t care, yet their magic says otherwise? Perfect.

Relmatis Caerdranin. Syraxian god of magic. Creator of the Laetoran clan. Father to one. Friend to few. Cares for many. They think him to be emotionless, but in reality, he feels so much. He knows the chaos he could cause. The lives he could destroy. That is not what he wants. He is better than the circumstances that made him.
