I am really excited to introduce you our new feature in FailTracker. You can add comments, notes descriptions or whatever you want under each failure. That's cool, isn't it? You are not a lonely fail hunter anymore!

We hope this new feature is something that really helps you and improves the whole process of tracking, catching and resolving fails in your web applications.

So how you can add a comment? We have made it intuitive (at least we think so). Adding comments is possible only in the Leaderboard (because we don't see any sense in adding comments in the Stream). In the Leaderboard simply click on a "open detail" button in a failures title upper-left corner and add as many comments as you want (number of characters is not limited). If you want to leave the adding comments mode just click on the icon of the Leaderboard in a upper-left corner and you are right back in the Leaderboard. There will be added more functions enabling you to edit comments, link comments etc. We will let you know as soon as it is ready. 

We make FailTracker better and better step by step and we would appreciate your feedback. Last couple of weeks we have been working on our brand new promo video. After many iterations we want to release it soon. Hope you will like it!

STEP ONE

The very first step of course is registration. Create a new account on failtracker.com or sign up with your Facebook, Twitter or GithHub account. 

STEP TWO

After signing in create a project - give it a name, share it with your team-mates and set levels for notification emails and for labeling errors with low, middle and high level. 

STEP THREE

By clicking on the icon very next to your username "How to connect your app" manual is displayed. Choose a connector which links up our tool with your app - there are JavaScript, Java, Grails/Groovy and PHP connectors prepared for you then follow the instructions bellow. STEP FOUR

After adding FailTracker into your code it starts catching all fails that occurred during the run of your app. All issues are displayed on a LeaderBoard. And here it comes - Why we are awesome? There is really no need to refresh your browser. Whenever any crash appears in your app it is immediately visible on the LeaderBoard sorted by number of occurrences and gruped together. By the same time all errors are marked with low/middle/high indicator. There is another interesting option for tracking all fails - we named it a Stream. It could be very useful if you have the option to project the Stream in your office so everyone can see realtime FailTracking.
