Being on tumblr with no means of ever escaping makes me severely depressed. I hope you all will take that into consideration when you raise your children. And if the tumblr staff cares, which I’m not debating that you do, I hope you will take this into consideration for the future as well. Make it easier to delete old posts across blogs, to erase your tracks, and to password protect the main blog. Make it easier to undo the mistakes you made decades ago. Quite frankly, I wish I could be dead instead of being on tumblr and online in general. I won’t have anyhing to do with your future generations, but I feel sad for them if they end up on tumblr and behind everlasting url’s, like I did. Don’t give your kid a phone because it’s convenient. It’s not taking their well-being and higher good into consideration. Please. Your children need a good group of friends and social skills, and a steady source of income and general life skills, not the prison that is their life online.
