“There’s a special place in Hell for women, who don’t help other women.” -Taylor Swift
Let’s talk about this for a moment. I know Taylor said this awhile ago, but she and her fans are still living by Taylor’s hypocrisy.
First, that is not what Taylor meant. She meant…
“There is a special place in Hell for women, who don’t help ME.”
One of the worst things about Taylor is that she titles herself a feminist. Now, when it comes to her sexual assault trial, I completely support her.
However, many of her actions portray feminist as manipulative, lying, backstabbing, immature bullies/abusers that humiliate and sabotage others just so they can reach and stay on top.
Taylor and swifties, believe that if you do not support every little thing another woman does (especially Taylor) that means you are not a real feminist.
That is absolute bullshit!
Despite what Taylor and her fans believe….
Women can do things that should not be supported. Women also not just can do bad things, there are women out there that really do. Women should not be given a free pass to do bad things just because they are women.
As a woman, I am not a fake feminist because I do not support a woman that:
Doesn’t denounce her racist fans. Instead sues a blogger for calling her out for not denouncing them.
Sues her fans for making merchandise for her other fans.
Sues her old guitar teacher for using her name as a method to promote himself. She should be grateful to him.
Only uses feminism when it benefits her.
Ruined another woman’s career (Camilla Belle) by slut shaming her in the song Better Than Revenge. Using lyrics like: “She’s an actress. She better known or the things she does on the mattress”. Has also never apologized to Camilla, and instead used the “I was young” excuse.
Dissed, humiliated, and portrayed Katy Perry as a terrible person by lying saying Katy tired to sabotage her by heiring a bunch of people from under her. When in reality the dancers originally belonged to Katy. The dancers only signed on with Taylor for work at the time, and had always planned on going back to Katy, and even gave Taylor a thirty day notice. (Also you know damn well it would not have been hard for Taylor to find replacement dancers)
Then dissed and humiliated Katy Perry more by getting all her “squad” or “friends” for the music video of Bad Blood. Which is basically Taylor showing everyone how awesome she and her friends are compared to Katy. Like a high school bully does. (I do not care for Katy, but it is good she was the mature one and ended the feud.)
Makes herself the victim, when Nicki Minaj tweets about the unfairness and body shaming women of color go through in the music industry. (You know Taylor only apologized to end the backlash she was facing)
Is best friends with a woman (Lena Dunham) who is racist and openly admitted to molesting her younger sister.
Claims she doesn’t take offensive to things and is mature enough not to, but when someone does one tiny thing she doesn’t like. She makes it a personal goal to revenge.
Pulls out the sexist and victim card any time someone calls her out on something she has done that is wrong.
Lied about knowing and approving another artist song. Yes, she lied plan and simple. If she had said “Yes, we talked but I didn’t know about (or did but didn’t approve) being called a bitch”. That would not have been a lie. That is not what she did. She claimed she never got a call from Kanye and first heard the song when the world did. Portraying herself as the innocent white American sweetheart woman, being bullied. (Kanye is terrible also)
Disses and humiliates all of her exes. Yes, believe it or not dissing and humiliating men can be a bad thing. There is a chance her exes did her wrong. There can also be the chance these exes are not in the wrong at all. There can be a chance that it was a relationship that just simply did not work. There is also the chance…she might have been the problem. The fact that she has so many failed relationships, gives to proof to this. (Taylor can date as many people as she wishes, and should not be judge for how many people she has dated.)
That is just to name a few. Yes, she has done good things. But all this examples should not be ignored just because she is a woman.
Also Taylor and swifties need to stop pulling out other people’s bad actions as a method to make Taylor look like an angel. It doesn’t work that way.
Feminism is about being equal. Feminism is about standing up and helping those that deserve it male or female.
Feminism is NOT about only standing by women no matter what bad things they do, just because they are women.
