Youve technically just stated this is ILLEGAL thus what unisonraidd did, was ALSO illegal and you ACKNOWLEDGE that, and what she did is a terrible thing. Yet i dont see much backlash from you, to her. I wonder why the double standards is strong here?

So by condemning us, you also condemn her. However, if we did not post proof, would you have believed she was an art theft? :)

We will not be as two faced as yourself and bid you a good day because we do not wish to. You have CLEARLY confronted us with malice of forethought and we shall reply in kind. There is no need for pleasantries because we are adults here, we know what we are doing. We do not expect fake kindness from yourselves, so please dont expect it from us.

No one bats an eyelid when we expose OTHER art thefts, but because its a blogger you know. Its suddenly a big deal. There is no special treatment for unisonraidd. We deal with her the way we deal with other art thieves, if you have a problem with it, then we can only pat you on the shoulder and say “aw”. Because you nor anyone else, will not dictate how we run our blog.

I saw someone (I won't say who because I think they'll be mean to me and spread lies too) saying that you guys said that someone who was a reposter in the past, now doesn't have the right to be credited with their work. I don't think you guys have ever said this but I just wanted to let you know because this fandom discourse with people lying and twisting words to save themselves is making me really regret joining this fandom. I hope you continue to fight for artists who deserve it

You will find that person who is spreading this ridiculous lie has just made it up.

Not once did we say unisonraidd had no right to her art, nor did we say she was not allowed credit for her work. Anyone who isn’t actually doing DAMAGE CONTROL would read our original post and find the following

1.) We got SEVERAL ASKS in regards to helping unisonraidd with a reposter problem she was having on Instagram

2.) We replied to one because we still kept getting more even though we stated we will NOT be helping out art thieves on our PSA.

3.) We stated we will NOT be helping her out (AGAIN) because we do not help other art thieves and provided evidence as to why we deem her as one

There are THREE things here that people take offence to;

• the fact we provided EVIDENCE of her being a reposter herself• the fact we refuse to help her• the fact we made the post public

Now in those three instances, people have decided to twist the facts and made up their own LIES and pretended WE said them and came up with these;

• the evidence is from a few years ago so it’s irrelevant (they seem to think this is a good thing yet the JUSTIFICATION of the crime because it was a long time ago is the mentality of reposters we see on a day to day basis and if they DID know better now, they would have just apologised instead of making the excuse that they were young - milkybreads situation anyone?)

• we don’t want to help her because we don’t like her (this LIE is all due to the fact people are pointing fingers at the wrong people because they are ASSUMING they know the admins who run this blog, unisonraidd was never a topic of this blog until her OWN FOLLOWERS messaged us)

• we have bullied her because the post is public (yet no one seems to care when we make public posts of OTHER reposters and for some reason they want to HIDE what reposters do???)

So before people start making their own versions of what really happened, you should probably all get your facts right. You all just look VERY desperate.

To the anon, It’s a shame this has made you feel like the fandom wasn’t worth joining and I hope you take solace in the fact that you are not alone in this. We have received messages from people who feel the same way as you because of things like this with the same group of people. 

We will continue to call out art thieves/reposters/tracers. And we do not care if you think you’re a big shot blog. Our admins are not threatened by the small numbers you all seem to be very proud of.

Calling out art thieves is not fucking harassment. 

Art thieves do not deserve sympathy because they’re frustrated they got caught stealing art. 

Art thieves who lie about any “permission” they got to post the art, refuse to remove the art they stole, and sling around death and suicide threats when artists tell them to remove stolen art do not deserve sympathy.

Art thieves who proceed to shit talk the artists they hurt by stealing their art in the first place do not deserve sympathy.

Art thieves are not fucking victims.

I just want to send you guys a message to say thank you for all the work you do. You guys always help me our with reposters and i dont ever know how to repay you. Thank you especially to amy (i work with her the most) who is practically living in the instagram tags on the lookout for any of my reposted/traced art. You never ask for anything back but youre so great and im so glad for you tbh <3

I never really expected anything in return, I just liked helping artists take a load off when it comes to reporting their reposts, cause it does get tiring and it is a bothersome thing to do, and i know artists would rather be drawing than seeing their defiled/edited/reposted artwork multiple times in a day.

It can be so discouraging seeing that? It was just so satisfying seeing how happy an artist would feel knowing someone was helping them. 

But its just so shitty that some people expect you to help everyone? Why should we help someone who steals themselves? This blog is to prevent art theft, not help art thieves
