Speed is by far the K-pop group I think of when talking about the best choreography for male groups.
They debuted in 2013 with “It’s Over”. They had tutting choreography, all of them being in sync with their light up gloves not only captured my attention but the little hat trick Sungmin, Taeha, and Yuhwan did in the beginning of their stage made me already know I would like the group.
“Look At Me Now” and “Pain” may have seemed quite plain compared to that but their ability to be in sync really had me. Also the little bit in “Look At Me Now” where Taeha and Yuhwan fall toward the ground and push back off was amazing.
Now, “Don’t Tease Me” is how I actually found them. I was amazed by not only their ability to do major acrobatics but their teamwork and trust in each other to help achieve the aesthetics of the circus theme acrobatics they were going for.
“What U”, their latest comeback, had them in Heelys. HEELYS. They danced, did flips and jumps, in Heelys. In Heelys. Many of you may be proficient in using Heelys but these guys had to relearn how to use it for their dance. I didnt think they could ever top the choreography for their previous comeback but they did. With Heelys.
If you have any chance to learn about them and become a fan, please do because they work hard for this. Not only are they amazing at choreo, theyre all adorkable and funny and you won’t ever regret stanning them.
