Chains one shot, 6,309 words, rated M
Bare. Satoru felt like a soul imprisoned in a corpse beaten down by snow and rain. He was vulnerable and powerless against the entity that tormented him so freely. The suffocating liquid darkness seeped into his body through every pore. Each night, Satoru lay down on his bed and awoke in a coffin two meters below the ground.
“I’m so terribly alone.” Satoru whimpered as tears streamed down his pale cheeks.

"That's rather troubling," he said, his voice dropping to a deep, serious tone.

Rewired: one shot, rated E
Zodyl quickly put the pieces together. He was so fucking drunk last night that he took Enjin home. And from their current state, it was obvious what happened next. They definitely weren’t knitting, nor discussing books with each other, and obviously, they weren’t talking about Zodyl’s favorite revolver.
They fucked. They fucked raw and rough and ended up so fucked stupid that both thought Enjin staying overnight was okay.

Jabber: Boss, I know how to get the watch from the hedgehog cleaner guy
Zodyl: Enlighten me
Jabber: Ask him out, get him drunk and then steal it
Zodyl: What a brilliant idea, Jabber. What would I do without you? How about you go to your room, lock the door, and don't come out for the next 72 hours so nobody can steal your incredible ideas?
Jabber: Will do!
Jabber: But boss
Zodyl: What?
Jabber: I smell a strong scent of sarcasm from your voice
Zodyl: Why would you think so, my loyal Jabber?
Jabber: Well... then you will ask that Enjin guy out?
Zodyl: But of course, right after I buy him flowers and a deodorant
Zodyl was such a passenger princess in the Broker ark. God, he didn't lift a finger, didn't move at all, just sat in the car, calm, carved from a stone.
I like this contrast between him and Enjin, who can't be a passenger even if you paid him.
My zojin HC is, that Zodyl drives like a racer. Nobody's guts are safe around him, so he never drives. The only person who enjoys his race with death is Enjin.
What I love about Armand's adaptation here is that they kept his little, sadistic, aggressive side. Like when he fought Marius, when he killed that Lord back in Italy. He had that spirit, always rebelling. Knowing all of this, you imagine what the coven did to him to try to break that spirit. But instead of breaking him, they made him more insane than he already was.
People should learn that they can quit the anime they dislike. No need to threaten the studio and animators with bad times. It's time to detach yourself and take a deep breath. If you dislike Tristar so much, turn it off, and go back to Tristamp, 1998, or Trimax. It's okay, you don't have to like everything.
It doesn't surprise me that some fans criticize Vash for never considering Knives' feelings. Now that Legato has spoken on Knives' behalf, it all feels even more confusing. The source material, the Trimax manga, is filled with Vash's regrets over leaving his brother. During the final fight, he even apologizes.
However, nobody takes a second to understand why Vash actually left, and this is really troubling to me when it comes to the anime adaptation. In the manga, Vash left after traveling with Knives. He left years later because he couldn't stand Knives' methods. He felt like the prisoner of a madman. Clearly, he didn't feel safe and needed to get out.
I'm also not sure if people remember, or have even read, how Vash lost his arm in the canon story. It wasn't because he opened the gate; it was because he shot at his brother while trying to stop him from committing another massacre.
One can't leave out those details and then expect the characters to act the same in the anime as they do in the manga. Because Vash is portrayed perfectly in the manga, you can see and read about his sorrow, his understanding of his brother, and his efforts to stop him rather than kill him. Because the anime lacks so much and leaves a lot of development behind, people turn against Vash simply because they can't see his full growth in the anime like it's in the manga.
