Darby & Chloé’s Home– September 22nd, 2025. Atlanta, Georgia.
It was midnight, almost one in the morning. Darby and I have been out in the woods of the backyard, I was also looking over my newest gear designs that Janine from Wicked Lester Clothing has sent me in my Instagram DM for All Out this weekend in Toronto. I had this concept for a black and red gear design with centipedes on the top and the leggings, inspired by my tattoo on my right ankle that went down to my right foot.
Suddenly I saw a flash of light cross my vision and I quickly stand up from the porch steps as Bear, Henry and Salem, our pomeranians start barking. I walked over to the other side of our yard, right next to the skate ramps is Darby and in his hand, he had a flamethrower– I assume for Dynamite this week to use on Jon Moxley as part of his feud with him and the Death Riders.
“Daredevil! Are you serious? A flamethrower?!” I snapped. “Spune-mi că n-o să folosești nenorocitul ăla de aruncător de flăcări săptămâna asta?! Ai putea să arzi grav pe cineva!”
I quickly put my hand over my mouth as I realized that I’m yelling at Darby in Romanian. Darby paused in his tracks, he turned around and stared at me with his jaw open before he shut the flamethrower off.
“What was that?” Darby asked as he looked over at me, his blue eyes meeting mine.
“Uhm, nothing. Nothing at all, daredevil.” I muttered as my face turns red. Darby raised a brow in curiosity at me.
“Are you sure? Because it didn’t sound like nothing to me.”
I closed my eyes for a moment and I took a deep breath. I had known that at some point in our relationship– there was going to be something that Darby did that would be the trigger for my Romanian side to come out.
“I have Romanian in my blood,” I explained as I opened my eyes and saw him standing there, waiting patiently for me to speak. “Therefore, I can speak it really well when I get frustrated.”
I noticed that his blue eyes started to widen in shock as he looked at me. I shrugged until I saw him start to smile at me.
“You just became so much fucking hotter, Chlo.” Darby said as I saw desire forming in his eyes. My face turned red and I looked away from his eyes and down at my feet.
“Oh, shut up. That’s not true,” I said as I met his eyes again. Darby smiled as he walked over to me, setting the flamethrower down by one of the ramps. He took my hands in his and gently pulled me to him.
“But it is,” Darby answered. “I’ve never been around a girl who can speak an entirely different language like you have. It’s really the hottest thing I could have ever known about you.”
I grinned and continued to blush as I wrapped my arms around his neck as an idea crossed my mind.
“Hmm. Is that so?” A bit of seduction slips into my voice as I traced the "Ain't life grand" tattoo across the front of his neck. “Even hotter than the flamethrower you had in your hands right now?”
“This is a completely different type of hot,” Darby says with a chuckle. “Seriously. Speak some more. I want to hear it.”
I bit down on my bottom lip as a gentle smile crossed my face. I lean in closer to his ear.
“Te iubesc, neînfricatul meu neobosit.” I whispered. “I love you, my relentless daredevil.”
I let go of him with a seductive smile as I turn to walk back inside the house, I hear Darby’s footsteps after me and he scooped me up in his arms, bridal style as I giggled.
Darby’s breath hitched against my neck, his fingers tightening around my waist as if anchoring himself to the moment. His grip on me was almost desperate, like he was afraid I’d vanish if he let go.
The warmth of his breath against my skin sent a shiver down my spine, and I could feel the rapid beat of his heart rate as my palm pressed against his chest.
My fingers tangled in his hair, tugging just enough to make him groan against my lips, the sound vibrating through me like a live wire.
Darby didn’t set me down until we reached the bedroom, his grip firm but careful, like I was something precious he’d just discovered. The moment my feet touched the floor, I turned to face him, my fingers already working at the hem of his shirt.
The fabric peeled away easily, revealing the familiar landscape of his chest—ink and scars and the faintest sheen of sweat from the humidity outside.
The room was thick with the scent of him—cologne, smoke, and something uniquely Darby that made my pulse quicken.
His hands found my waist again as I grabbed him by the chain around his neck, pulling him flush against me as his mouth crashed into mine.
He walked me backward until my knees hit the edge of the bed, and then we were falling, a tangle of limbs and desperate touches. His hands slid under my shirt, calloused palms rough against the soft skin of my stomach, and I arched into him with a gasp.
“Fuck,” I breathed as my black acrylic nails dug into the “Nothing’s over til you’re underground” tattoo in the center of his chest as he smirked softly.
The smirk on his lips was dangerous, the kind that promised trouble and made my stomach flip. His fingers traced idle patterns along my ribs, sending sparks skittering across my skin, before he suddenly flipped us so I was straddling him, my own nails moving along the skeletal tattoos on his right arm to his hand.
“I’m all yours, spider lily,” Darby whispered as his hands gently squeezed my hip.
The weight of him beneath me was intoxicating, his skin hot against mine as I leaned down to capture his lips again.
His hands roamed freely, mapping every curve like he was memorizing me all over again. The bed creaked softly under our shifting weight, a rhythm that matched the pounding in my chest.
“Goddamn,” he murmured, his voice rough. His hands cupped my breasts until I gasped, my back arching into his touch. The sensation was electric, sending a jolt straight between my thighs.
I broke the kiss just long enough to pull my shirt over my head, tossing it somewhere in the dark. The cool air hit my skin, but it did nothing to temper the fire building inside me.
Darby’s eyes darkened as they raked over me, his fingers tracing the lace edge of my bra before deftly unhooking it. The fabric slid away, and his breath hitched.
I rocked against him, the friction maddening, and he groaned, his grip tightening on my hips. “Chlo,” he groaned, his voice a warning I had no intention of heeding.
His hands slid to the waistband of my shorts, fingers hooking into the fabric with an urgency that made my breath catch. I lifted my hips just enough to let him peel them down, the cool air of the room brushing against my skin as he tossed them aside. His gaze burned into me, dark and hungry, like he was committing every inch of me to memory.
“Darby,” I gasped, my voice breaking as he pushed two fingers inside me, curling them just right. My hips jerked against his hand, chasing the pleasure that coiled tight in my stomach. His free hand gripped my waist, holding me steady as he worked me over, his breath hot against my neck.
“Fuck, you’re perfect,” he muttered, his voice rough with need. His fingers traced the curve of my hip before sliding between my thighs, teasing just enough to make me whimper.
I arched into his touch, my nails digging into his shoulders as his thumb circled me, slow and deliberate. The sensation was almost too much, my body trembling with the effort to hold back.
“You like that, spider lily?” he murmured, his lips brushing the shell of my ear. His fingers moved faster, his thumb pressing harder, and I could feel myself unraveling.
Instead, I smirked, grinding down harder, watching the way his eyes fluttered shut in pleasure.
The heat of his skin against mine was intoxicating, every touch sending sparks through my veins. I rolled my hips again, grinding down against his fingers, my breath hitching as pleasure coiled tighter in my stomach. His free hand slid up my back, fingers tangling in my hair as he pulled me down for another searing kiss. The taste of him—made my head spin.
I could feel myself nearing the edge, my body trembling with the effort to hold back. But I didn’t want to come yet—not like this. Not when there was so much more I wanted from him.
“Fuck, Chlo,” he groaned against my lips, his voice rough with need. His fingers curled inside me, hitting that spot that made my vision blur, and I gasped, my nails raking down his chest.
The sting of pain only seemed to fuel him, his grip on my hip tightening as he thrust his fingers deeper, his thumb pressing harder against me.
With a smirk, I pulled away from his kiss, my lips brushing against his ear as I whispered, “Mm. Not yet, daredevil.” My voice was husky, dripping with promise.
“Patience, my love,” I murmured, my voice low and teasing as I released his hand. I shifted my weight, my thighs pressing against his hips as I leaned forward, my lips brushing against his collarbone.
I reached down, my fingers wrapping around his wrist, and pulled his hand away with a slow, deliberate motion.
His breath hitched as I brought his fingers to my lips, my tongue darting out to taste myself on his skin. His pupils dilated, the blue of his eyes nearly swallowed by black, and I could feel the way his body tensed beneath me.
I traced a path up his neck with my lips, my tongue flicking against the pulse point beneath his jaw before I nipped at his earlobe. “You want me to ride you, don’t you?” I whispered, my breath hot against his skin.
The salt of his skin mixed with the faint metallic tang of his sweat, and I couldn’t resist dragging my teeth along the sensitive flesh just enough to make him groan.
His hands flew to my hips, fingers digging in hard enough to leave bruises, but I didn’t care in the moment. The pain only made the heat between us burn hotter.
“Say it,” I murmured, rolling my hips against him just to watch the way his jaw clenched, the way his fingers dug deeper into my flesh. “Tell me how bad you want it.”
I could feel the way his breath stuttered at my words, his fingers flexing against my skin like he was fighting the urge to flip me onto my back and take control.
The power of it thrummed through me, intoxicating, and I let out a low laugh against his throat before pulling back just enough to meet his gaze. His eyes were dark, pupils blown wide, his lips parted as he panted—god, he was beautiful like this. Undone.
Darby’s throat worked as he swallowed, his voice rough when he finally spoke. “Fuck, Chlo. You know I do.” His hands slid up my sides, thumbs brushing my breasts, teasing. “I want you so bad it hurts. I want to feel you—” His voice broke off with a groan as I ground down against him again, the friction sending a jolt of pleasure straight through me. “I want to feel you come apart on top of me. I want to watch you take what you want.”
I bit my lip, savoring the way his words sent a shiver down my spine. The hunger in his voice was intoxicating, and I could feel the heat pooling between my thighs, my body aching for him. I leaned down, my lips brushing against his ear as I whispered, “Then take me, daredevil. Do it.”
I reached for the nightstand, my fingers brushing against the cool metal of the drawer handle before pulling it open. The familiar rustle of foil was loud in the quiet room, and I plucked one out, tearing it open with my teeth.
Darby’s breath hitched as I rolled the condom down his length, my fingers lingering just a second too long, savoring the way his body tensed beneath me. His hands gripped my hips, thumbs pressing into the dip of my waist, like he was trying to ground himself.
“You’re killing me,” he said, his voice rough, his eyes locked on mine.
I smirked, lifting myself just enough to position him at my entrance. The anticipation was a live wire between us, crackling with heat. I lowered myself slowly, inch by inch, my breath catching as he filled me. I let out a shaky exhale as I finally took all of him. His hands tightened on my hips, his fingers gently digging in.
“Fuck, Chlo,” he breathed, his voice strained. His hips twitched beneath me, like he was fighting the urge to thrust up into me.
I rolled my hips, savoring the way his breath hitched, the way his fingers flexed against my skin. The sensation of him inside me was overwhelming, a perfect mix of fullness and friction that made my head spin.
His eyes were locked on mine, dark and hungry, his lips parted as he panted. I could see the effort it took for him to hold still, to let me set the pace, and the power of it sent a thrill through me.
“God, daredevil. You feel so good,” I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper. I leaned forward, my hands pressing into his chest as I started to move, slow and deliberate.
The bed creaked beneath me as I found my rhythm, each roll of my hips drawing a sharp gasp from Darby’s lips. His hands slid from my waist to my thighs, fingers pressing into the soft flesh as if he could anchor himself to the moment.
Come right on me, I mean camaraderie
Said you're not in my time zone, but you wanna be
Where art thou? Why not uponeth me?
See it in my mind, let's fulfill the prophecy (Ooh)
Who's the cute guy with the wide, blue eyes and the big, bad mmm? Like (Ooh)
I know I sound a bit redundant
But I bet we'd have really good bed chem
The heat between us was suffocating, the air thick with the scent of sweat and something darker, yet passionate. I could feel his pulse hammering beneath my palms where they rested against his chest, the steady thrum of it matching the pounding in my own veins.
His breath came in ragged bursts, his eyes half-lidded as he watched me move above him. The way he looked at me—like I was the only thing in the world that mattered—sent a shiver down my spine. I leaned forward, my white hair falling around us like a curtain, and captured his lips in a slow, deep kiss.
My fingers tangled in his hair as I deepened the kiss, my hips rolling against his in a rhythm that sent sparks skittering across my skin. His hands slid up my back, thumbs tracing the curve of my spine before gripping my shoulders, pulling me down harder against him.
I broke the kiss with a gasp, my lips brushing against his ear as I whispered, “Darby. I want you on top.”
His icy blue eyes softened at my words, a flicker of surprise crossing his face before it melted into something raw and hungry. Without a word, he flipped us again, his strength effortless as he pinned me beneath him.
The sudden shift sent a thrill and a giggle through me, my back arching against the sheets as his weight settled between my thighs. His hands slid up my arms, fingers intertwining with mine as he pressed them into the mattress above my head.
“Like this?” His voice was soft but rough at the edges, as he nuzzled my neck, his lips brushing the sensitive spot just below my ear.
I could feel the smirk against my skin, the way his breath hitched when I tilted my head to give him better access. His teeth grazed my collarbone, just shy of painful, and I gasped, my hips lifting instinctively against his.
“Mmm, yeah. Just like that,” I breathed, my fingers curling around his as I tested the strength of his grip. He didn’t let go, his thumbs tracing slow but tender circles against my wrists, his way of making sure I was okay with this as his mouth trailed lower, his tongue flicking against the swell of my breast.
His lips closed around my nipple, the heat of his mouth sending a jolt straight through me. I arched into him, my back lifting off the bed as a whimper escaped my throat.
His free hand slid down my side, fingers tracing the curve of my waist before gripping my hip, pulling me flush against him. The friction was maddening, the way he filled me completely, and I could feel the tension coiling tight in my stomach, my breath coming in short, sharp gasps.
Darby lifted his head just enough to meet my gaze, his blue eyes dark with desire, his lips swollen from our kisses. “You’re so fucking beautiful like this,” he murmured, his voice rough.
His lips crashed back into mine, swallowing the moan that tore from my throat as he finally moved—slow at first, like he was savoring the way I clenched around him.
The drag of his body against mine sent sparks skittering up my spine, and I arched into him, my nails raking down his back. The sting of pain only made him groan, his hips snapping forward harder until the room blurred around the edges.
“Fuck—” I gasped, my voice breaking as he hit that spot inside me, the one that made my vision black out for a second.
His grip on my wrists tightened gently, his breath hot against my ear as he growled, “That’s it, spider lily. Take it.”
I couldn’t think. Couldn’t do anything but feel—the way his muscles tensed under my hands, the way his breath hitched every time I rolled my hips to meet his thrusts. His teeth grazed my jaw, my throat, my collarbone, every bite sending another jolt of pleasure straight to my core.
“Darby—” His name was a prayer on my lips, a plea.
The world narrowed to the space between us, to the way his hips snapped against mine, each thrust sending a shockwave through me. My back arched off the bed, my fingers twisting in the sheets as I chased the edge of something bright and blinding.
His breath was ragged against my neck, his lips brushing the shell of my ear as he whispered, ”Come for me, Chlo.”
The command in his voice was enough to unravel me. My body tensed, every muscle locking as pleasure crashed over me in waves, my vision whiting out for a heartbeat. I gasped his name, my nails digging into his shoulders hard enough to leave crescent moons in his skin. He groaned, his rhythm stuttering as he followed me over the edge, his body shuddering against mine.
My body still hummed with the aftershocks of pleasure, my skin glistening with sweat as Darby lay beside me, his chest rising and falling in sync with mine. The room was quiet, save for the sound of our breathing and the distant hum of crickets outside. I turned my head to look at him, his features softened in the dim light filtering through the curtains.
Darby’s blue eyes met mine, a soft smile playing on his lips. He reached out, brushing a stray strand of hair from my face, his touch gentle and warm against my skin. I felt a surge of affection for him, for the way he looked at me like I was the only person in the world.
“You okay, spider lily?” he asked, his voice a gentle murmur in the darkness. I nodded, a contented sigh escaping my lips.
“Yeah, more than okay,” I replied, my voice barely a whisper. “That was... amazing.”
Darby grinned, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “You’re amazing,” he said, pulling me closer to him. I snuggled into his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heart beneath my ear as my fingers toyed with the chain around his neck.
“I love you,” he whispered, his voice barely above a murmur. The words hung in the air between us, filled with a depth of emotion that took my breath away. I felt a lump form in my throat, overwhelmed by the intensity of my feelings for him.
Darby’s fingers traced lazy patterns on my skin, sending shivers down my spine. I turned my head to look at him, his blue eyes meeting mine in the dim light of the room.
There was a softness in his gaze that made my heart flutter, a tenderness that I had never experienced before.
As we laid there for a few more moments, I shifted so my chin rested against the center of his chest, my fingers traced down his tattooed arm.
“I love you too,” I replied, my voice barely a whisper.
It was a simple statement, but it held the weight of the world in those three words. Darby pulled me closer, his touch gentle yet possessive, as if he never wanted to let me go.
“I’m surprised you never asked if I knew Vlad Dracula,” I teased with a playful glint in my green eyes. Darby raised a curious eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips.
“What do you mean, Chlo?” Darby asked as he brushed his knuckles down my cheek, a gesture that always made me shiver.
“It’s just something I would always hear when I’d tell someone about my Romanian blood,” I explained with a sigh. “It used to drive me crazy as a kid, people used to believe that I was a vampire because of it. Now, it’s just laughable.”
Darby chuckled softly, his fingers trailing down my arm in a comforting gesture. “I can only imagine the kind of stories you must have heard growing up. But hey, being associated with vampires isn’t the worst thing in the world. In fact, it actually has made me fall more in love with you.”
I tilted my head up to meet his blue gaze, a soft smile playing on my lips with a shocked look in my eyes. The way Darby looked back at me with such adoration made my heart flutter in my chest.
“I never knew my Romanian heritage would make me even more irresistible to you,” I teased, running my fingers across his face. Darby’s laughter filled the room, a melodic sound that warmed my soul.
“You’ve always been irresistible to me, spider lily,” Darby said, his voice genuine. “But knowing that you have this rich history and culture in your blood just adds another layer of intrigue to you.”
I smiled as I kissed him on the cheek. “Aw. You’re sweet, Darby Allin.” I said softly.
“Only for you, spider lily. Only for you,” Darby murmured as he pulled me closer to him and I closed my eyes, letting the calming sound of his heart lull me to sleep.

Eurylochus: What was the song of the sirens like?
Odysseus: All the things you wanted to be and then all the things you wished you never wished for. It was a delicious itch you want to scratch but you find it under the skin and can't reach it. So the delicious itch becomes unbearable. It told you what you most want is what you most can't have and that the most you can't have is what you already had and lost. It was a song of all the promises I failed to keep. And it told me I don't really want to go home.
