My (very late 😭) piece for @fairytalesfromthesmp Pictures Tell a Thousand Words!

Cursed to take on the form of a dragon by day, Dream lives his life as a creature of majesty and terror, scales of deep emerald and wings of brilliant pearl. Only as the sun falls in the West and the moon rises in the East does he find reprieve, returned to the form of a man for as long as the sun is set. Indefinite is the curse, lest he find a heart able to love him by day and trust in the darkness of night.

But love is hard to come by, trust even more so. And the only thing stronger than George’s heart is his curiosity.

When you say own original idea, does that mean the writers can choose their own fairytale?

Hello! No, the writers will be assigned a fairytale from the list of preselected fairytales for this year. To clarify, by “original idea”, we mean that writers who choose not to work based on an art piece from the art collab will get to write their own concept for the fairytale they are assigned, unrelated to the art collab piece that was drawn in association with that same fairytale.

Hi! This year the fic writers are writing their stories based on already drawn arts, and I just wanted to know how it's going to work with 10 artists and 16 fic writers. Would multiple writers make a fic based on the same drawing? Or would some writers be allowed to write without an art reference?

Hello!! Writers have the choice of either writing based on one of the art pieces that’s been drawn for this year’s art collab or writing their own original idea.

HERE IT IS! My contribution to @fairytalesfromthesmp My story was The Three Languages. I was going to do three of every animal- But that was too ambitious for me LOL. I never really do backgrounds or draw animals so this was a fun challenge! Of course it's DnB related hehe.

“I admit when I first proposed exchanging with you, I borne no good intention for your kind.” The fae who shared his face smiled. His expression was warm for words so cruel.

When the hunters retreated, their memories wiped off of the encounter in the Faerie, it was a face similar to his own that greeted Dream, in a world that looked more like a dream than the greenest pasture.

“XD.” The one sharing his face introduced. It was weird looking at himself with ears just a bit longer and hair just a shade lighter. It was jarring to see wings that didn’t belong.

“You saved the Faerie and in exchange, I was able to see how your kind lives. I will admit, perhaps I was too harsh in my judgment. There is something admirable about your kind.”

“O, wingless one, should you wish, I offer you a road home, back to your kind. Of course, if you would like to stay, I will respect that decision too.”

With a decision dawning in the horizon, Dream smiled, knowing the exact choice to make.

Despite being a wingless, Dream is strong, agile and smart. Even the fastest fae pales in race across the forests. He is charismatic, making friends easily amongst the faes, even the cold crowned prince, Technoblade, cracked a smile in front of him.

They are quick friends. Many can find them hanging out among the trees. Dream's voice filling the space while Techno listened.

"There once was a prophecy, which stated that a great calamity is to descend upon the fae, only through the help of a wingless one shall there be a chance of survival."

Hence the fae folk delivered a changeling to take over the wingless' place, while the wingless falls into the woods of the fae.

It's me! I am the one behind the story of Changeling Legend for Fairytales from the SMP: Pictures Tell a Thousand Words hosted by @fairytalesfromthesmp.

The cruel childish king trials the ex-king, George, the way he always trials people: by making them choose between two doors, behind one a salvation and the other a punishment. But this time a punishment awaits behind both of the doors, and George's only choice is between a bad thing and a worse one. The mocking game of chance is thus: a cruel god that wants nothing but entertainment and torment, or the most dangerous man of the land - the ex-lover whom George betrayed in ways unimaginable.

But there are things the king doesn't know...

And my fairytale for the @fairytalesfromthesmp miniseries event is... "The Lady or The Tiger?"

I chose the fairytale of Tam Lin for the @fairytalesfromthesmp collab!

I drew their first meeting where Dream (Janet) picks a two-headed rose and George's (Tam Lin's) transformations before turning human.
