Authors, what's the weirdest thing you've ever Googled for book research? I'll start collecting the answers in the comments
I need every writer to answer this:
What's one thing your readers constantly misunderstand about your book?
Book lovers: adds 17 books to TBR Also, book lovers: finish one book every 3–5 business days
Be honest… how many unread books are waiting for you right now?
Characters changing
Authors, be honest: How many times did you rename your main character before settling on the current one? I'm convinced some characters have had more identities than secret agents.
The best stories aren't the ones that follow every rule.
They're the ones only you could write.
Writers, what's something unique about your story that no one else could tell the same way?
Every book starts with a simple thought: "What if?" One idea becomes a character. One character becomes a story. And before you know it, you've created an entire world Writers, what was the idea that started your current project?
To the writer who's been staring at the same chapter for days...
Keep going.
The story in your head deserves a chance to exist, and someone out there is waiting to read it.
What are you writing right now?
Every writer has that one spot where ideas seem to find them
A cozy corner, a desk, a coffee shop, or maybe just the couch with a blanket and too many tabs open
Where do you do your best writing?
A good story starts with coffee, a messy draft, and a little bit of faith.
Writers, what are you working on right now: drafting, editing, or overthinking every sentence like the rest of us?
“Is the book almost done?
Meanwhile the writer is fixing plot holes, rewriting chapter 3 for the 12th time, and emotionally recovering from their own characters.
Writers… how long have you been working on your current book?
“My dream is to write a book.” And honestly? I hope you do
Someone out there is waiting for a story exactly like yours. What’s your book about?
Writing is 10% typing and 90% “wait… that’s not the right word.
What’s that ONE sentence you’ve rewritten 50 times?
