“Conductor! Gimme my 300 naira change… Conductor!” Apparently, bus conductors in Lagos do not like to be called “conductors”, ’cause he didn’t answer me till we got to the last bus stop… Or did he want me to forget my change?! Odindin N300!

Oh we got to the last stop alright and the conductor married me to another guy who was to get a balance of N300 too! Wasn’t easy sorting that one out, but when we finally did, I consoled myself by taking some pictures along the way as I walked to where I was going to get my final bus home!

While I was editing the pictures, by the way, and writing this, I couldn’t get Falz’s lyrics out of my head… “Have you ever been to Lagos? Have you been with a guy from my city? Hakuna Matata, I like your matako matiti…”

You know the song? It’s La Fete. It’s a good song!
