Kind of insane how season 1 felt like a complete thought out story while in season 2 almost no one got closure

The new characters introduction was great, however, the old characters have all these storylines pending for no reason?

Mel and Becca/ Trinity and Garcia/ Dennis and Trinity/ Dennis and farm girl/ SAMIRA/ Robby/ Cassie and so on...

I know this is the downside of having a season that takes over a day but the need to appeal to season 3 was so grand that they couldn't finish ONE SINGLE storyline?

I made up some hypothetical specialisations that I’d like to see

Necromancer - Deaths Herd - short bow - more minions with better controls and conditions from a distance 

Elementalist- Steamspinner - hammer - only 2 buffed elements, fire and water, nice and simple

  Mesmer - longbow- uses songs to inflict damage, clones buff allies and damage enemies with crescendos instead of shatters

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.
