It’s funny how a band that I’ve just started listening to a few months back turns out to be one of the most memorable and constantly being played music in my playlist today. I accidentally came across “Scandal” when I was browsing through my Facebook feed. I saw their video, “Departure”, and they were just a group of girls playing some J-Rock music. Little did I knew they had a whole lot of releases over the past 10 years. Being a fan of physical copies, I had to google for their cds and vinyl and I was surprised they had a one and only vinyl release for one of their full length album. So I immediately bought a copy.  So about a month ago, I went for their concert and my god I was blown away. These girls are very hardworking and they are very good musicians per se. I really enjoyed the show. After the show, I was still on a constant lookout for their other albums. And then I saw an ad on a local ‘buy/sell’ website. Someone was selling away their very first EP that they recorded back in 2008. Their very first release as a band. And this 4 track EP is actually a rare find and it’s going for quite a high price over in Japan. But nevertheless, Scandal is probably one of my favourite girlband as of this moment. And they’re cute, so I could’t ask for more. =)

Lush reuniting was the greatest news all year long. 2015 has been great but this was worth the wait. Thanks 4AD for this wonderful book with Lush complete discography. Can’t wait for the new EP in 2016. Chorus (2015)

What can I say? The most kvlt album ever produced within the last 100 years. This was before Black Sabbath debut album and if you take Jeffersons Airplane and satan together, Coven is what you get. This album is just KVLT. Up till today, I can’t sit down and listen to the final track. It freaks me out. Coven - Witchcraft Destroys Minds And Reaps Souls (1969)
