That's a legit question not a snarky one, I am clearly out of the loop on this. I suppose at her level of fame with how hard her fans love her (which I know is HARD), it makes sense that the reverse would be people who have come to truly despise her because haters gonna hate (woah she wrote a song to that effect and everything).

I just feel like anyone dedicating time and energy to hating Taylor swift in today's political climate has really lost some sort of fundamental plot.

Like I fully get hating a celebrity for whatever reason. People are gonna hate who theyre gonna hate. Whatever. But if it's anything beyond going "ugh I hate her" when she comes up in conversation, or on the radio... who does not have a better use of their time?

Horrible state of the world aside, she's not even one of the worst celebrities.
