As you guys know my dog needed to get a tumor remove from her chest area. This past Thursday we finally operated. My baby is a trooper and she made it through. She was kinda loopy the first two days but she’s been regaining her energy with each passing day. Yesterday was one of the most stressful post operation days. Because of the fireworks she would not stop barking and she looked like she was straining herself while doing so. This went on for HOURS. I kept think she was gonna bust her stitches. Thankfully she didn’t and around 3am she finally calmed down enough to relax with me in bed.

Anyways I just wanted to update everyone on how everything has been going. Here’s a video of my poor kid barking her lungs out due to fear.

Hi, I’m Vee Ritchie, aka “ritchandfamous”, producer of Bisexual Banter, a web series devoted to the voices of bisexual people and anyone who experiences romantic and sexual attraction outside of monosexuality. For the latest instalment, I’m working on an episode exclusively devoted to the voices of POC. The point of the show is to give a platform to your thoughts and experiences. They don’t have to be political, or have a moral to them, its just to make sure your voices are heard.

Who I need: Anyone who identifies as both a person of colour and as bisexual (or pansexual, multisexual, etc) and is in the Greater London area, who would like to interviewed (on camera) for the show, discussing the intersections of their experiences being both Bi and a POC.

I also need a consultant for the episode, ideally a person of colour who is into social justice, who can watch early cuts of the episode and keep my editing in check. This person doesn’t necessarily have to live in London or even the UK.

I’ve been so busy I hadnt checked up on the donations since tuesday and today I found out that an amazing soul donated $100 dollars yesterday. OMG.

We’re nearly halfway done, but still have $170 to go. The deadline to turn the money in is Oct 14, but I want to have the money at least a few days before so that gofundme can actually process the money into my account before the 14th.

If you’ve donated know that I will be personally sending you guys a email expressing my gratitude for the help, I havent done so yet because of my hectic schedule and the stress I have from trying to get everything done by the 14th. Hey guys, if you wanna know why I’m not as active as I once used to be, this is it. These kids have taken over my life and my heart.

I’m trying to raise money for the girls team at my site since my program doesn’t have the money to fund it.  As you can see we mostly have boys but the girls we do have love the sport with a passion and will play with the boys even though they are more aggressive just so they get to play someone. 

I was hoping to split the cost with another site who also has a few players but since our schools aren’t in the same building they wont let us =‘[
