We’ve cried blood not just tears waiting for this ceasefire in Gaza and hopefully tomorrow it begins. So yes, tomorrow families like mine will walk out into a wasteland. Homes crushed to dust, streets erased, memories scattered like ash. We’ve buried people we love, people who deserved to live and now we stand in the ruins wondering how to go on when there’s nothing left. I’m writing this not because I know what to say but because I have no choice. A few dollars, a reblog "anything" to remind us we haven’t been completely abandoned. When the dust settles we’ll still be here broken, grieving and left with nothing but the faint hope that someone, somewhere, still sees us.

Bad things don’t just happen to you, they happen to people who are too broken to fight back, like characters in a cruel show no one remembers. Gaza is one such stage and every dollar is a chance to change the script. Please keep donating and sharing. You’re the reason we’re holding on to hope for tomorrow.

you know what I can’t stop thinking about?how the world lets some labels matter and others get ignored. holocaust survivors, everyone knows that brand right? iconic emotional powerful makes you stop and go damn but here’s the kicker palestinians? we’re survivors too. nakba survivors. oh you thought the nakba was just some event from 1948? no no no hayati, it’s still happening right now every single day so this is the term people need to start using when talking about palestinians: NAKBA SURVIVORS. not refugees, not some sad footnote in history and can we please stop even calling what happening in Gaza “ethnic cleansing”? like what are we doing here, rebranding atrocities to sound like a spring cleaning checklist? no it’s ethnic extermination. say it with me ex-ter-mi-na-tion. and yet somehow palestinians keep surviving. my family in gaza? 26 are still there, after losing too many. they wake up every day to a world that wants them gone and somehow they’re still trying to survive. but survival isn’t magic. it doesn’t just happen because they’re tough or brave or insert your inspirational buzzword of choice here. it happens because people like you give a damn and yes this is me asking you to really keep giving a damn. have you donated yet? incredible, thank you, love you forever. haven’t donated? this is your sign. thinking “but i already donated”? Please do it again. survival isn’t a one-time event. click the link and be part of the reason they’re still alive tomorrow.

Yesterday I was thinking about how we’re all treating 2025 like it’s a magic spell, like flipping the calendar will fix everything. It reminded me of an old story about a farmer on the border between Russia and Poland. For years he didn’t know which country his land belonged to and when he finally found out it was Poland he celebrated no more brutal Russian winters. But the winters didn’t care about borders. The snow kept coming same as always and it’s the same with a new year. My family in Gaza doesn’t get a break just because the calendar changes. The hardships continue and so does the unbearable weight of not knowing. Two of my cousins were taken by the IDF a week ago, and we still don’t know where they are. Not knowing is unbearable. But even in the toughest winters people like you bring light. Every donation, every share of our story, every kind word has made the impossible feel possible. Because of you we’ve survived. So no, 2025 isn’t magic but you are. Please keep sharing and donating. You’re the reason we’re still alive and the reason we’re holding on to hope for tomorrow.

Wishing you all a year full of blessings and less drama! Inshallah ayear full of khair!
last night i was on the phone with my 74 year old mother in gaza trying to explain how tumblr is helping us stay alive and she cuts me off frustrated “tumblr? what even is that? how are these people with strange names and pictures gonna help when we don’t have bread? the children are hungry. this is genocide.” so i said mama these people are real they’re donating so we can survive and she scoffed “show me one of them actually helping” so i opened tumblr and read a message “mama a friend sent us $20 yesterday that’s how we bought two loaves of bread yesterday and another one shared our story with their friends” silence then she sighed “well god bless them even if their names and pictures are ridiculous” then she goes “thank you to everyone out there you’re the reason we’re still alive and please continue donating and sharing! your support truly makes a difference”.

grinding for gaza while trying to keep my sanity intact. i'm just here on tumblr writing post after post, asking, begging for donations, for help. i craft these words carefully hoping someone somewhere might care enough to hit that reblog button or send a few dollars. then i go hunting for the tagging list hoping someone with a bigger reach than me will help amplify my voice because seriously what else can i do? message after message, waiting for a reply, a reblog, anything. the silence is deafening. i wait for the donation notification to pop up like it’s some kind of life raft. maybe just maybe it’ll float my family out of this hell. but mostly i’m sitting here clicking, praying, hoping while my phone keeps buzzing with more bad news. sighs deeply. well back to the grind i guess. shuffle away quietly. maybe trip on a rock this time. who knows.

Being someone who fights for their family in a world that barely acknowledges Gaza’s suffering? That’s its own special kind of hell. Every time a loved one is injured, whether it’s your partner, your child, or even yourself, the doctors rush in. But don’t expect any miracles. The tools they bring aren’t fresh from pristine, state-of-the-art hospitals. They’re the leftovers of a world that has abandoned Gaza. Surgical plates aren’t delivered by some heroic supply chain. They’re pulled from the bodies of the dead, handed down like cursed heirlooms. Metal meant to heal now carries the weight of death, and infection waits to take what little hope remains.
Doctors are left with impossible decisions: amputate, scavenge through the dead for a plate to salvage, or wait for one that may never come. And the price? These plates cost more than most families in Gaza could ever afford. As resources vanish, everything becomes more expensive. It’s a cruel game with no winners, and we’re all stuck in it.
This is the reality for 26 members of my family, all just trying to stay alive. Two orphaned children. A loved one paralyzed by shrapnel that tore through her body. Her survival hinges on removing infected plates that shouldn’t even exist in her story. Every hour that passes steals more of her future while the world stands still. And yes, you’ve probably seen the video of her injuries shared before. In case you missed it: Link.
This isn’t just about my family. This is Gaza. It’s about a world that watches genocide unfold and calls it politics. A world that stands silent as families like mine scrape by with nothing but scraps, while doctors stitch together lives using whatever’s left behind. But here’s the thing, we won’t let this be the end. Hope is still a choice we make every single day, even when the world seems to have forgotten how to care.
Please help my family in Gaza get a chance to survive. Click the link. Donate if you can and reblog to spread our story.

Yoav Gallant wanted for crimes against humanity is warmly welcomed in Washington, while Gaza suffers through genocide. The same leaders who host war criminals dare to lecture the world on justice and human rights. This hypocrisy isn’t just staggering, it’s deadly.
My family in Gaza is enduring a nightmare no one should ever have to face: genocide, freezing nights without shelter, hunger, and prices so high that survival itself feels like a constant fight.
This campaign is for 26 lives hanging by a thread including two orphaned children and a family member who, after being struck by shrapnel, now suffers from hemiplegia. She urgently needs surgery to replace infected plates in her body. Every hour that passes brings her closer to death. When I first joined Tumblr, I had no idea what I was walking into. There’s no manual for navigating this wild, untamed corner of the internet. My first moment here? I was greeted by an image completely naked, no warning, no explanation. It was just there, bold and unapologetic. That’s when I realized: Tumblr is a place where anything can happen.
But for all its chaos, Tumblr has become something far greater than I ever expected. For us Palestinians, this platform isn’t just a space to scroll through memes or vent about life. It’s a lifeline, a place where we’ve taken the raw, messy energy of this site and turned it into a battleground for survival. Here, we tell our stories, raise funds, and fight for our lives.
I’ve seen campaigns soar past their goals, bringing hope to families barely holding on. But I’ve also seen campaigns like mine, ones that fight tooth and nail for every single dollar, every reblog, every addition, and every ounce of hope. My family’s lives depend on this.
It hasn’t been easy. Zionists flood all Palestinian words with hate, twisting truths and spreading lies. They aim to discredit us, to make people doubt us. It’s exhausting. Some nights, I sit with my phone in my hands, wondering if this fight is too big for me. But then something beautiful happens: a donation comes through, a kind message appears, or someone I’ve never met reblogs my story with words that feel like a warm embrace.
And through it all, people are starting to see the truth. The hate doesn’t drown us; it sharpens our voices. Every day, more people step forward to stand with us, to say, “I see you, I hear you, and I’m with you.” It’s those moments that keep me going.
To everyone who has already helped, whether through verification, donating, wrting post , reblogging, or simply sharing a kind word: thank you. You’ve done more for my family than I could ever put into words. But the reality is, we’re not there yet. My family is still waiting for a chance to breathe, to live without fear, to fill their empty stomachs with warm food, and to wrap themselves in clothes thick enough to keep out the bitter cold. They’re hungry, they’re freezing, and I can’t do this alone.
This fight is hard, but it’s not hopeless. Strangers have become friends, and friends have become family. Some of you have shown up in ways I never imagined, treating my family’s survival as if it were your own. That kind of solidarity? It’s powerful.
Tumblr might be chaotic, unpredictable, and sometimes downright bizarre, but it’s also the place where we’ve built something extraordinary: a community that refuses to look away from injustice. With your help, we can take this fight all the way. My family’s lives are within reach, and together, I know we’ll get there.
This campaign isn’t just about me. It supports 26 people, including two orphaned children and an injured family member suffering from hemiplegia after being hit by shrapnel during a bombing. Surgery is desperately needed to replace the infected and failing plates. The needs are urgent, and the future of 26 lives depends on your support.

There’s been endless talk about bodies vanishing in Gaza: martyrs who don’t just die but are erased, turned into nothing more than smoke rising into the sky, like their souls got hacked and rage-quit existence entirely. And no, this isn’t some cinematic moment or dystopian novel. This is our everyday reality, unfolding in front of us like a cursed game with no exit.
Bullets? Sure, horrifying, but they play by rules. You’ve got entry wounds and exit wounds. Grotesque, but at least they make sense. Shrapnel? Same deal. It tears through you, maybe stays lodged, maybe tears its way out. Awful, but still following some logic. Both bullets and shrapnel can, yes, kill you, but they won’t make your body vanish.
But the weapons used by the IDF? They don’t just kill; they erase you. They leave nothing behind but the void, as if the universe itself decided you were a bug in the system and patched you out. These weapons aren’t just meant to kill; they’re engineered for maximum obliteration. Their purpose isn’t just destruction, it’s erasure. Like someone thought, "What if war, but with a side of existential dread?"
You can see that in this video. A martyr’s body lying in the dirt, and this strange black-and-white smoke curling out of him, like his very existence was being deleted in real time. It wasn’t fire. It wasn’t anything normal. It was like the laws of physics glitched out around him, like reality had decided to rage-quit too. It wasn’t just a death; it was a redacted event.
But here’s the thing: the Gazan people are still holding on. Barely. We’re clinging to what’s left of life as if it’s the last lifeline in an impossible final boss battle. But let’s be real, we can’t do it alone. There’s no Phoenix Kit or supply drop coming for us. That’s where you come in. Please help us. Donate and reblog this post to spread our story.
BTW, this isn’t just my battle. It’s for 26 lives, including two orphaned children who’ve lost everything, and a family member battling hemiplegia after shrapnel tore through her during a bombing. She need urgent surgery to replace the infected, failing plates keeping her alive. The stakes couldn’t be higher. The future of 26 lives rests in your hands.

We really have to hand it to kids' drawings. They're like little emotional time bombs, chaotic, pure, and ready to explode with meaning at any second. My son’s masterpiece? It’s got all the feels: hope, resilience, and a superhero vibe that makes you believe a pencil can save the world.
Then there’s my friend’s version, same idea but polished, powerful, and radiating strength and determination. One full of innocence and love, the other showing how far we’ve come in the fight for survival. Together, they remind me that even in the darkest times, there is light.
Maybe these drawings aren’t enough to stop you in your tracks. Maybe they’re not “good enough” to inspire donations or make you share this post. But behind each one, there’s a story of survival, resilience, and unshakable hope.

There’s a bittersweet joy in witnessing the struggles of the Syrian people bear moments of hope, but it feels like a fleeting spark, a fragile light overshadowed by deeper, relentless forces. Can we call this freedom? Or is it just a brief pause in a cycle of pain that has gripped us for far too long?
For decades, the Middle East has been scarred by war, division, and unimaginable suffering. These aren’t random tragedies, they are deliberate, calculated acts meant to maintain control. As long as Zionism continues to reshape the region, inching closer to the goal of a Greater Israel, true freedom for any of us will remain a distant dream.
But freedom isn’t just about removing one dictator or another. Real freedom requires dismantling the entire system that keeps us in chains. It’s about a shift in power, a dismantling of structures that oppress us all. Until Palestine is free, until the people who are suffering are allowed to breathe, none of us can say we’re free.
This isn’t just a political issue for me, it’s personal. My family in Gaza is living through an unthinkable reality: genocide, freezing cold nights without shelter, hunger, and prices so high that survival is a struggle each day. They’re stuck in a nightmare that keeps getting worse, and their suffering is not just a faraway tragedy, it’s a pain that echoes through me.
And yet, despite the immense pain, I hold on to hope. Because I know that change is possible. Every small donation, every act of solidarity, can ripple outward and transform lives. This isn’t just charity, it’s resistance. It’s standing together to defy those who profit from our suffering. You have the power to be part of this change. Stand with Gaza. Stand for freedom. Stand for humanity.

Thank you, @veltroxx, for sharing this post. In the last 15 hours, we've received just one donation, and we still need much more support to get through this.
Please help us by donating and sharing this post. Your kindness and support mean everything to us. Every donation, big or small, truly makes a difference.
Hello everyone, Falastin has asked me to make a post for her.
Falastin has been trying to raise funds for her 26 family members for over 6 months but hasn't been able to reach her goal. Her family is trapped in Gaza, one of them has been injured by shrapnel from an explosion. These are people who are desperate for just a little bit of relief.
FALASTIN IS VETTED BY 90-GHOST, El-SHAB-HUSSEIN (#282), AND THE BUTTERFLY PROJECT (957).
YOU CAN DONATE TO HER CAMPAIGN HERE.
As of right now, Falastin has raised kr196,548 SEK out of her goal of kr1,000,000 SEK. kr54.66 SEK = $5, kr109.32 SEK = $10. Sharing this fundraiser and donating, no matter the amount, will help Falastin reach her goal and work to keep her family safe. Can you share this post, and donate a bit to save lives?
I really appreciate you sharing this post @ellevandersneed.
We’re still in the middle of this fight, and every bit of support gives my family and me some much-needed hope. If you’re able to donate, it would mean so much. If not, even sharing this message helps more than you know. Please help us..
It’s thanksgiving in us and black Friday tomorrow. I do not participate in either, and I hope you do not too. But if you do, I want to remind you that there haven’t been a safe day in Gaza for over a year. For this thanksgiving many in Gaza would be lucky to be warm or sated, and I'm not even going to talk about safety. Falastin’s family (and many more) will be thankful to have ANYTHING on the table today, and with the current rates of donations they will, and I promise I’m not over exaggerating, freeze or starve to death.
Her family has endured more than 50 displacements now and has had many family members martyred since last October. They wanted to buy another tent and waterproof materials in September* but they didn’t get enough donations (they are forced to spend what they have on food) and now they are starving.
Last time the campaign met the daily goal of 500 USD was 22 days ago - a goal that was meant to be a stepping stone. And this week they didn't even raise 400 USD so far. If you are not familiar with prices in Gaza or Falastin’s campaign you may think that it’s a lot, but it’s very far from the truth. Prices in Gaza are still rising, aid is getting sparser (just like the world's attention to Palestine) and they need all the help they can get to feed 26 people. Even 1 or 5 dollars can help since it will push the campaign up in the algorithm on gofundme.
