I’ve become a sucker for beautifully produced pop.  I love Lana Del Rey and have been listening to the new Harry Styles album.

Beach House (Baltimore, Maryland) doesn’t sound like those artists, but it is meticulously produced and beautiful.  I posted about “7″ when it came out but somehow missed this “tour” single.  “Alien” is the non-album song and its a winner.  Any fan of noise/shoegaze has got to be smitten by this song.  My Bloody Valentine immediately comes to mind as does Pia Fraus or Flower Crown (Pittsburgh).

This 7″ has two variants - one from Bella Union and another from Sub Pop.
