Pretty little thing the SENSHI is. A small note given to the Rose’s inner thoughts as she dashes ‘round the girl, petals FLUTTERING in the crisp air. Team RWBY’s leader is by no means a showoff, { purposely } but the fact that someone is so obviously SHOCKED by her abilities elicits an unspoken JOY that Ruby herself can’t find the words to properly describe.

Oh dust, hopefully she isn’t SPOOKED. The Huntress in training did just kind of POP up behind her from seemingly nowhere. Maybe Yang’s advice to be a little more FRIENDLY resulted in coming on too strong.

    if you play ANY sort of villainous character - from a pick-pocket to a full-scale serial killer - and i follow you, please know that i’ve come into this FULL WELL what i’m signing up for. i don’t expect you to soften your character for me, i’m not going to complain when they aren’t nice to my characters, and i honestly probably love watching them do what they do. not all characters are going to be the “good guys”, or the type of villain that can be redeemed. not everyone has a tragic backstory that makes them do the things they do - some people enjoy it, others just do it because they can, and for some it’s all they know. yes, there are villains with a soft spot or two - this doesn’t mean they need to change everything. our characters become friends/lovers even though my character is a “good guy”? you keep doin’ you. keep stealing those purses, killing those people, burning those villages to the ground. 

        tl;dr - I DIDN’T FOLLOW YOU BECAUSE I WANTED SOMETHING SOFT AND EASY - you keep bein’ a villain, babe, cause you’re  just as excellent as the heroes.

20 Questions Time!

⚡ : How does your muse feel about storms? Are they afraid of them, or do they calm them?

Ruby is utterly PETRIFIED of storms. She takes slight comfort in the fact that she can pretty much create a tornado with her speedy semblance, but the noise from thunder scares her so bad. It’s not evening LIGHTNING, the thing that could actually cause harm, it’s the NOISE. Anytime it storms, if Ruby is in the room, she’ll put her headphones on && blast whatever music she happens to be listening to just to try keeping the horrible sounds outside at bay. The little rose is also super EMBARRASSED about her fear, having a bad habit of SNAPPING at anyone who accuses her of it.

This may or may not have stemmed from a very CRUEL prank Yang played on her when they were younger.

Though about Volume 4, when she has to be out in OPEN space && around other people, she’ll just put on a brave face. Might also low-key cringe a lot from the loud thunder cracks && her left eye twitches sometimes.
