Headlining Fall Fest 2015 is Chicago’s MICK JENKINS. Conscious, hard-hitting, and pulling influences from jazz, trap, and everywhere in between over the years, Mick’s intoxicating flow and invigorating live performance will carry you sweetly to the end of your night.
UNIIQU3 is the queen of Jersey club. Is there much more to be said? Named a “Woman to Watch in EDM” this year by Complex and fresh off of a ruthless performance at AFROPUNK, she’ll bring heavy bass and huge beats all the way up to your Fall Fest 2015 headliner, Mick Jenkins.
Bringing a dose of viciousness to the Fall Fest lineup this year are upstate New York’s PERFECT PUSSY. Expect a blistering set with a focus on frontwoman Meredith Graves’ commanding and cathartic stage presence. Their brand of noisy hardcore will allow you the most room for RESPECTFUL mosh-pitting and slam-dancing.
A GREAT BIG PILE OF LEAVES are a complete joy of a band hailing from Brooklyn. Lyrical content touches on living with mice in your apartment, being sad that summer is over, skateboarding with the squad as the sun is setting, and generally carpe diem-ing all over everything within reach. Not to mention that their blend of emo, jazz, and pop is just a treat to listen to.
ALL DOGS come to us from Columbus, OH and features Maryn Jones (also of SAINTSENECA and YOWLER) on vocals and songwriting duties. Their LP from earlier this year, Kicking Every Day, is a voyage into the depths of 90s college rock radio lore and has been receiving rave reviews across the web.
Zach Berns, prolific Purchase jazzer and percussionist extraordinaire, brings GLADES to Fall Fest 2015. Informed by his Colorado roots - airy, cold, and bright beats - interspersed with soul samples and live drums, his full-ensemble iteration of his tracks is sure to send you into a blissful trance.
After a summer full of touring, a debut full-length record, and reviews of that record from Pitchfork among other publications all over the Net, Steph Knipe’s ADULT MOM returns to their stomping grounds at The Stood. Expect to hear old favorites and new rockin’ numbers all featuring Steph’s careless delivery yet fearless lyrical content.
The project of Purchase cherub Natasha Jacobs, THELMA is a dreamy trip through clouds and processed sound wonderlands. Natasha will be accompanied by her full band to create the most lush and dense landscapes of noise you’ll find on Fall Fest this year.
The boy BOBBY J. WOODY kicks things off for us. Outfitted with an ensemble of jazz program all-stars, Bobby brings Baltimore hip-hop to the Fall Fest stage. You’ve seen him behind the mixing console, now see him behind the mic.
