Wait, apple music suggested power snatch to you? That's amazing - I didn't know that we were getting put out like that. I love it. Yeah, we've only put one song on streaming - the rest is on band camp. It feels a little more gross roots doing it that way. I feel like I'm always trying to do something creative - whether it's with my hair, or music... it just feels good to put something out into the world. At the moment I'm on tour for my solo album that I released last year so there isn't too much time to create music - I'm noting down ideas here and there. But dude, I love the questions - keep 'em going.

it's that and bandcamp's such a class idea. just feels more honest for the fans and a bit fairer to the artists, if they're actually making what people say they are from the sales. i switched from spotify to apple music cause they at least throw the artists a slightly better cut, but i'm tempted to swear off the big streaming services altogether and just start buying everything on bandcamp or something. feels like the kind of thing you had in mind putting it up there, yeah? have you been getting much feedback on the music yet? i can only imagine how good and rewarding it feels. and honestly, that all sounds fair enough. the brain's never really off, is it? if something pops into your head and you don't catch it, there's every chance it'll vanish on you, and you'll be mad later for not writing it down. do you reckon you'll lean more into power snatch's direction once the tour's wrapped and you've had a proper bit of rest? see, i'm clearly taking full advantage of the invite to ask questions here, and very happily so.

I don't think they will ever get over the panic of us being out here on our own, despite the fact we are grown ups ourselves. Your mum just worries, and the media certainly doesn’t help, always painting London as something far more dangerous than it actually feels day to day. I will remind her that I grew up in the city, lived here my whole life, and I know how to handle myself. I can protect us. Don’t insult us by calling me a grown up. I may be almost 28, but I still phone my mum daily for the smallest things because she somehow always knows best. She is the actual grown up here. And we both know what Irish mothers are like, she isn’t letting anything happen to us, not even slightly. And yes, us, because she definitely sees you as part of the family now, whether you like it or not. I think you might even be her favourite child at this point, though I would never admit that to her directly. But yes, I will leave that out when talking to your mum. I know, it is gross, and I genuinely wish I could unsee some of the things I have come across on there. Mads: Something I can talk about with never getting bored with. Probably a few things if we're going general can always talk endlessly about music and books. The amount of booktok videos I have saved? Insane. If you're asking for a little more specific, can talk about true crime endlessly, which I'm not sure what that says about me. Now are there probably more niche things, absolutely, but I'm going to have to hear more about yours before that.

paul [dms]: music and books are what life's all about, really, so i get you. might sound a bit basic, seeing as half the world would say the same, but i reckon it just shows how they have a way of connecting people. paul [dms]: but you have a proper bookshelf, i assume, and a digital one to match, yeah? that tbr must be pure madness altogether. how do you even handle the pressure of all those unread books staring at you, waiting their turn? paul [dms]: specifics are always welcome too. true crime, though… i mean, as long as you're not looking for inspiration… what draws you in more, the serial killer stories or something else entirely? like cold cases, maybe? paul [dms]: that's fair. i'd say for me it's mostly documentaries. i love all sorts, especially anything about animals, but the world wars too, or history in general. i know the war ones might sound like a bit of a red flag, and fair enough. but it's not the guns or the violence i'm interested in, it's the history of it all. i find it more unsettling than anything, properly mind-boggling that it ever happened, but still… they're a good watch if they're properly made.

I love this theater so much, and the atmosphere that is brings. I could seriously just do shows here forever, and never leave. It really comes alive, and every show has just given me a rush. I am very much enjoying it, and everything that comes with it. The crowds have been amazing and given us full attention, and London has been great. I've been shown some cool places by the cast and crew, but also been doing some exploring myself.
