Listed on Amazon, Ebay etc as ‘David Bowie Acoustic t-shirt’, available in several slightly different prints (smaller print, or large print but with blank space near the hem, but that’s not what I want to promote here.
Basically this is a giveaway with a difference. I don’t think anyone has mentioned the significance of Hamlet wearing a David Bowie t-shirt. So I’m going out a limb. Send me an ask with your theory for the link between David Bowie and Hamlet. There is one particular link I am looking for! Whoever comes closest to matching MY theory will get a prize
I’m back at the Barbican on 31st October for the final matinee performance and I will be hitting the Hamlet shop. I don’t quite know what I’m going to buy yet, maybe a programme, perhaps a magnet or bookmark or two, depending what they’ve got. It will be a surprise! I may throw some magazines in too, featuring Benedict. We’ll see.
You MUST be following me, because this is a “thank you” designed specifically for my followers. I WILL be checking.
You must reblog this post as well as submitting an ask with your theory. You can like the post for your own information, but it won’t get you an entry unless you reblog it too. Only 1 reblog is necessary but you can submit more than one theory in separate asks if you want.
I reserve the right to make any changes to these rules if I’ve forgotten anything. I will reblog if I make changes.
Your ask box must be open and you MUST be willing to provide me with your name and address if you win, so that I can send the prize to you.
I will make reasonable attempts to contact winners within 48 hours of the end of the giveaway, but if I don’t hear back from you in that time, I will pick another winner.
I will ship ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, but you will be liable for your own country’s import taxes.
In the event of two people giving the same Hamlet/Bowie link I will draw names out of a hat.
The giveaway is underway immediately this post goes live. It will run until 14th November 2015.
The Bowie T-shirt is NOT part of the prize package. Prizes will be items purchased from the Hamlet shop at the Barbican later this month.
So… off you go! I’ll post photos of the prizes as soon as I have them.
