My words are irrelevant nine times out of ten They are emotions amplified with the colors of white paper and black pen But then again we all want to get lost in something other than reality So let’s forget all the technicalities Yesterday I was blue and deviations Ruled Neptune Today I’m green it’s spring, flowers are starting to bloom Blue and green make yellow Which actually balance my life making me mellow Although I love black and wear it on my outsides I’m filed with different shades of yellow melting on my insides So today my reality is a palette of colors And the world is my canvas waiting to be smothered Black, yellow, blue, green and every color in between

I’m home sick I mean I’m home right now Because I survive in Lakewood, Colorado But I miss the familiar faces and landscapes of Springbrook, Pennsylvania I miss my dog that often licked me to much I miss the house I grew up in hating because my moms a hoarder I miss driving aimlessly and still knowing where I was

So Colorado make me feel at home again I was so uncomfortable with being comfortable And you were a rush of excitement But I’m lonely I need the feeling of home back in my bones Let me wander and stumble into something amazing Let me find people who enjoy star gazing Who’s laughs make me smile Let me feel comfortable with staying awhile
