Kylo’s emotions towards the vision of Rey’s parents

So I watched the hand-touching scene again and I’ve come to realize something. When they touched hands, Rey saw a glimpse of Kylo’s future and Kylo saw Rey’s parents, who they were and her past. 

Kylo saw that her parents were “nobody”. We know that was the truth. How Kylo knew it? Because Rey knew it. In TLJ novelization, she keeps hearing “Stay here. I’ll come back for you, sweetheart, I promise.”, she assumes it was one of her parents saying that, for her entire life. But then she realizes that it’s just her voice. That she made it up, like a self-defense mechanism. This is from TLJ Junior novelization, right after the wakes up and takes the legacy lightsaber, leaves Kylo in the throne room:

Now, back to the handholding hand-touching scene. Just look at him.

He’s seeing the truth about her parents. He is not pleased about it: Rey lied to herself. She was all alone, he saw her misery. He saw that she already knew the truth but she was too afraid to admit it. Her family, they were not coming back. Like Maz told Rey in TFA.

So yeah…

Just casual millenium falcon crew. Like them playing cards or cooking and some bantering about whatever

A beautiful funeral for Leia where her son arrives via force bond

Ben crying and all other uncontrollable emotions because he is a masterpiece

ALL of the force ghosts

The knights of ren being protective over ben

Hux losing his shit over something because I wanna see the little baby throw a fit

Finn being awkward around rose

BEN’S REDEMPTION OBVIOUSLY

Poe becoming the next rebel general

I want a reference to Padmé, she reserves it

Either Rey or Ben getting hurt in the heat of battle and the other running to them to help and everyone just stops what they’re doing because WHAAAAA??

Leia knowing Rey and her son are happy

Kylo wearing grey because Rey has, we need to see it from him now

Fin finding out that Rey and Ben have a thing and getting really protective

One of the best feelings

Is realizing you are slowly falling

You begin to notice the little things

The way their eyes shine

And their face lights up

When they are happy.

The specific way their voice sounds,

The little flecks in their eyes,

The freckles you hadn't noticed until now.

And you look back

On all the things that brought you to this moment;

The happy

The ugly.

And realize why you both have been with each other for so long.

While you sit and watch them

Smile,

And laugh,

And sing,

You come to the conclusion that you are perfect for each other.

Now you know

Roots

It is an indulgence of mine to go out into nature.

To reconnect with something so pure.

To be able to escape for just a moment

Into a world that is simpler than the one we have created.

To remember that which we have lost touch with.

We are often so caught up in our webs of delusion

That we sometimes may forget where we started;

The birth of our kind.

That of rugged beauty

And good intentions.

We must not lose sight of our deep rooted passion to love

And be loved.

To stop and admire the petals of a fair flower

Or the dripping of the rain

Like a dance of thanks and rebirth.

We must still let the sunlight kiss our tender faces,

Let the snow sprinkle our heads with crowns of crystal,

Let the grass tickle our sides,

Let the wind whisper her secrets in our ear.

You must stay in touch, dear child,

And remember your roots.

Continuous Incompletion

I go about living

And rarely question my purpose.

Continuing the cycle of waking and resting,

Waking and resting.

Never stopping to understand.

Never stopping to question.

Seemingly content.

And yet, I am still unhappy.

I wonder what to do

But never stop to do it.

I do not fix my state of existing

But still I complain I am not living.

What more is there?

To smile through the pain

And congratulate them

For something you have not yet accomplished for yourself.

And it is most difficult

The emotion that is so hard to place.

When you so care for someone

That you would do anything for them

But you could not see yourself with them.
