S1 was Saphne season but we had Anthony buildup. S2 was Kanthony season but we had Colin buildup. S3 is Polin season but we'll have Benedict buildup. From where I sit all is looking well.

I’ve already seen a lot of complaints about the announcement for season 3, particularly about the lack of chemistry between Polin. I don’t know which show they have been watching up to now but I think Nic and Luke have been killing it with their body language and looks. On one side you have an innocent school girl kind of love from Pen and on the other a guy who feels very strongly for his “friend”, they aren’t at a place yet for them to be giving each other bedroom eyes; that’s what their season is for.

I wanted to see Sophia Becket so much, I love the third book in the series, so yes I was a bit dissapointed. But I’m seeing a lot of Polin hate and that just breaks my heart.

I want to celebrate a plus-size girl being the LEAD (!!) of a romance series, not just any romance series but a PERIOD romance. That’s amazing, really, I know I’m going to cry seeing it unfold on my screen.

For all the young plus-size girls, who don’t believe they deserve to be loved, that they should settle for whoever wants them, but not to expect true, honest, amazing love (and mindblowing sex), I want to celebrate. Because a long time ago that was me.

Honestly I’m so happy I could cry.

Ok, someone please tell me if I’m crazy, but is it an accident in this scene that Kate is holding a bolt of fabric that would be perfect for a traditional South Asian bridal lehnga or sari, when they are at the modiste for Edwina’s bridal ensemble fitting? Were they trying different fabrics on Edwina, and they opted for white because Edwina had worked so hard to fit in with the English ton, and the red would have highlighted her difference?

Say what you will about the the faults of Bridgerton Season 2, but the subtle, beautiful emotional acting of Jonathan Bailey is FIRE and I haven't seen such quality male acting in a long, long time.

The entire season felt like an homage to the struggle of being an eldest daughter of an immigrant household.

I have been saying this for a while! And i saw the article by a white writer about Kate Sharma's arc being "flat" and this is an article from the perspective of a brown woman.
