This line really got me thinking.
We all spend a lot of time talking and thinking about what Oliver’s reaction would be or will be to Felicity’s injury. How he’d get angry, how he’s tear about the world for her.
That I think we forget or don’t consider what Diggle’s reaction could be.
John Diggle who from day one was concerned about bringing Felicity onto the team.
And after the Dodger case, and Felicity’s brush with danger, immediately started training her.
John Diggle who noticed when Felicity was upset and tried to comfort her
John Diggle, who when Slade was running around, watched over Felicity’s house to make sure that she was safe.
And when Oliver was “dead”, he tried to help Felicity prepare herself to accept that.

John Diggle, who has already watched Felicity “die” once before
So, yes, while I’m wanting to see Oliver’s reaction to Felicity’s injuries, now, thinking about Diggle’s reaction, both excites and terrifies me
I’ve always seen Diggle and Felicity’s relationship as brother/sister. He’s her big brother, her protector. And he will tear the world down to keep her safe and defend her, right along side Oliver
And I can’t wait (even though it’s going to hurt like a motherfucker) to see what happens.
