Do you think that the examples of antisemitism given by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (see below) are all antisemitic or do you think some are not antisemitic?
They are all antisemitic (I am Jewish)
They are not all antisemitic (I am Jewish)
They are all antisemitic (I am not Jewish)
They are not all antisemitic (I am not Jewish)
Contemporary examples of antisemitism in public life, the media, schools, the workplace, and in the religious sphere could, taking into account the overall context, include, but are not limited to:
Calling for, aiding, or justifying the killing or harming of Jews in the name of a radical ideology or an extremist view of religion.
Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective — such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish conspiracy or of Jews controlling the media, economy, government or other societal institutions.
Accusing Jews as a people of being responsible for real or imagined wrongdoing committed by a single Jewish person or group, or even for acts committed by non-Jews.
Denying the fact, scope, mechanisms (e.g. gas chambers) or intentionality of the genocide of the Jewish people at the hands of National Socialist Germany and its supporters and accomplices during World War II (the Holocaust).
Accusing the Jews as a people, or Israel as a state, of inventing or exaggerating the Holocaust.
Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.
Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.
Applying double standards by requiring of it a behavior not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation.
Using the symbols and images associated with classic antisemitism (e.g., claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterize Israel or Israelis.
Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.
Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of Israel.
You can be like "I think this person is using surface-level support for Palestine as a cover for being a piece of shit and abusing/exploiting/killing people" and antizionist chickenshit cowards will be like "wow I can't belive you want Palestine to die :/ " simply bc they're so afraid of the panopticon they and their friends live in that stating the obvious of "people use progressive language/causes to infiltrate movements to abuse people" is somehow Evil now.
Not really a big surprise though because antizionism is also the same movement where every progressive Jew was like "hey there are Nazis infiltrating here" and the collective majority reaction was "eerrrrmmm I think you pointing out Nazis means you're the REAL NAZIS HERE" and then kicked them out ajdjsjdjsjx
It's just so fucking pathetic bc it really reveals how performative y'all's virtue signaling is. Not only will you antizionist fucks let people in who don't even do anything to materially support Palestine, those posers can then do things like fucking sexually assault women or endorse Nazi candidates abusing people IN THE PLACES YOU YOURSELF LIVE and y'all not only fucking tolerate it but attack anyone who points it out
There should be zero versions of Magneto that erase his Holocaust background. But also? No more versions where he was a young child in the camps. He’s supposed to be contemporaries with people who fought in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. He was one of the resistance leaders inside Auschwitz.
Nobody would do a version where Steve Rogers was a helpless child during WWII instead of a war hero. We shouldn’t take away what little agency Magneto’s character had in the camps.
I want to talk about the Jewish closet.
Being a member of the LGBT+ community, I’ve had to come out many times to many people. When coming out to someone you don’t know well you end up trying to gauge “Is this person safe?”. Maybe you ask leading questions or dance around it a bit. Poke one foot out of the closet, far enough to see a reaction but still able to duck back inside if things go south. Sometimes people will just come out and ask you, and you need to make a split second judgment of their character, because stalling is also an answer.
Then there’s the Jewish closet. And it’s exactly the same.
Story time. I live in a place with almost no Jews. And I don’t mean no visible Jews I mean, according to census data, single digits. And ironically because of this, we feel safe having our mezuzah outside. No one knows what it is. In fact we only know of one time it’s been recognized, and we know because we could hear slurs being spoken outside our door.
Anyway, I was bringing in a grocery delivery, and as I was unloading the food the delivery driver looks at the mezuzah and asks:
“What’s that thing there?” “Oh uh… it’s a mezuzah” “What’s that?” “Oh um… it’s a like, a charm?” “What kind of charm?” “It’s a prayer scroll” “Oh, like a religious thing? What religion is from?”
I had been trying to be vague but he kept asking questions. And now I was faced with coming out of the Jewish closet to a man I'd known for two minutes who knew where I lived.
“Yeah… it’s a Jewish thing” [Pause] “Huh. Well that’s different.”
And then I finished unloading my groceries feeling like I’d just failed a quick time event. But in the end “Well that’s different”, while a bit weird, wasn’t aggressive or angry, and so I was probably safe.
Some people don’t have the luxury of the closet though, they can’t pass as straight or cis or gentile. If you can’t pass, you’re always out in the open. And if you can:
You don’t look gay. You don’t look trans. You don’t look Jewish
And now the LGBT+ community is pushing us away too and forcing us back into the closet. And I personally feel a lot safer as a queer Jew in non-queer Jewish spaces than in non-religious queer ones.
The girlbossification of Lilith is bad, actually. There's nothing feminist about a demon that causes maternal mortality and SIDS. And yes, many of the worst offenders here are goyim, but there's also definitely Jews who are guilty of this (e.g. the folks at Lilith magazine).
.
something is deeply wrong with people

Sim Kern is actually fucking insane and their entire video is insane and Hen Mazzig had to do a full takedown of it because it's crazy
They explicitly said that they would still have voted for Platner, campaigned for him, supported him, and didn't care about rape, because Platner hated Israel, and that was worth it
Like just a few years ago I remember when it was a SJW canard to say "kill your rapist"
So in just a few years we've gone from "kill your rapist" to "campaign for your rapist," because.... Israel
I know people mean well when they say 'Jews aren't a race, just a religious group!', but in that one sentence you've invalidated the experiences of both non-religious Jews and people who've experienced racially-based antisemitism.
Adam Driver: yeah kevin and I have been working for a minute to cast me as a character that I feel really deeply about. so I’m happy to announce I’m playing Magneto
Adam Driver: hold on what? I’m playing Mr Sinister? Dope, even better
Me:
thinking about that time someone told me it didn't matter if they made their OC "a seraphim" [sic] because "Jews didn't invent angels"
“tradwife” “degeneracy” “[xyz] supremacy” shut up shut up shut upppppppp
stop normalizing nazi terminology
To Mamdani’s credit he seemed very committed to naming every immigrant enclave “Little [Country of Origin]” so what was he supposed to call Williamsburg? Little Israel? Little Zion? Little Pale of Settlement? The only defensible answer there was Don’t Label Williamsburg
Overlap between antiblackness and antisemitism in fandoms:
- Jewish-coding and Black-coding ignored and erased e.g., character’s experiences are intentional allegory for Jewishness or Blackness, but people insist it’s about queerness instead.
- The desire to see Black and Jewish characters humbled. This is usually in retaliation for some perceived wrong due to a white character. Gets worse if said characters are successful in their fields, then it’s portrayed as “punching up”.
- Ethnic features being erased (skin lightened, curly hair straightened, slimmer noses ect).
- Discussions about antiblack/antisemitic tropes in fandom spaces dismissed because “real bigotry is more important” (“real bigotry” is then never discussed).
- When the main characters are Black/Jewish and yet the fandom won’t stop talking about that fucking white guy.
- Black/Jewish characters made out to be mean, usually depicted as bullying the poor white character (bonus if the “agonisers” are men).
- Infantilisation specific to non-white characters.
I can’t say I’m comfortable with the idea that women need to cover up completely to avoid tempting men and I doubt everyone who wears a niqab or burqa does so by choice. Nonetheless I don’t think I can support such an attack on freedom of expression.
yeah, these types of bans only go after religions that aren't Christianity. And it starts with a burqa, then hijab, then any Muslim headcovering... basically its a pipeline we should not be going down,, and forcing someone to do something against their will is already in most cases a crime (or misdemeanour)
Also if you ban them in public places, you are saying that women who observe those traditions aren't allowed in public. Thus curtailing the very civil rights you claim you're trying to protect.
Also, let's say for a minute that your scare scenario is true. That woman in that niqab is horribly abused and her husband will damn near kill her (perhaps no "near" about it) if she goes out unveiled.
Cool!
So now she just like...can't actually seek help!! Because she can't leave the house unveiled, and can't wear her veil in public!
Great job, feminists!
No that thing you dislike isn’t “spiritually Israeli”. You know what is spiritually Israeli? What's the core of Israeli spiritual life? Judaism. But you aren’t gonna say something is spiritually Jewish out loud to devalue it, are you?
Oh, you meant it has colonialist vibes? That it’s a fascist or right-wing power structure? That it’s the result of genocidal actions? Then why aren’t you saying it’s spiritually American or French or British? Why are you so intent on using a Jewish country (no matter how immoral its actions) to critique things you dislike? Why are you ok mocking things by lumping them in with the spiritual (ie. jewish) aspect of Israel? Please, explain to me how that actually isn’t antisemitic.

Blessings for a good week, a safe and peaceful week, and may all the plans of our enemies fail.
Also, Nuterei Karta (the assholes with the "authentic rabbis" sign) are there.
Those guys aren't your friends. They believe the modern state of Israel is stopping the Messiah from returning. But when the Messiah returns, all gentiles will be slaves. They don't see Palestinians as people, just a means to an end. They're not here to support people's dignity, but because they want the Messiah to come.
They also don't see women as people, which is why you NEVER see women with them. Ever. They won't teach women to read or have any education so they can't leave the cult.
They're also Holocaust deniers.
Fuck Nuterei Karta.
Oh my God I didn't even notice the NK sign. "Authentic rabbis" you are in CHEREM
remember when Hasan said the Hezbollah flag is his favorite? (disclaimer: I’m not familiar with this sub so idk who frequents/contributes to it, it was just where I could find the clip when I searched for it.) “not even kidding, it's actually a dope flag...It's got an AK on it, and a f***ing hand holding it up!”
that’s the caliber of intellect and morality on display in the above photo.
