So, I guess I lost everything here with my hiatus, is anyone still around? 😅 My mental health has been atrocious this year because, well, gestures vaguely...I've been staying away from here, and I'm trying to come back, we'll see how that goes.
I had my birthday on Thursday, lost a dear friend that day to her battle with chronic illness, and had a doctor's appointment where I had X-rays done of my angry knee. 😅 My knee has been worse than usual lately, I have loose ligaments, and hyper mobility in a lot of my joints, this knee dislocated years ago, and got very angry on our vacation last summer. Apparently I have fluid around it, so it's physical therapy and a orthopedic consult.
I hope everyone is doing great, or at least hanging in. 🩵
I'm back. And I have a few pictures of the first bloom on my orchid for this season.
She's smaller this time, not as many buds, but that might be because we've both been going through a lot. But she's staying strong, she's showing her gorgeous colors, and we're weathering the storms together.
I need a friend to be gentle with me, to care, to comfort the sheer terror I've been trapped in. I need a friend to pour into me. I'm so tired. I'm so tired of crying out for help, and being left to try to self soothe. I don't have any self soothing left in me. I need someone to soothe me, someone to care.
I don't have a nervous system anymore. I have an hysterical system, and it's getting closer to breaking, and I have nowhere to turn.

I have a wooden Santa outside the front door. It's tied to the old dog tie out hook to keep it from flying away, but when it's windy it moves, and hits the door, sometimes very hard. It just smacked into the front door, and I jumped so hard I made my angry shoulders, the ones that were adjusted yesterday and were finally feeling okay, to start aching. 😅 Aaaaand it hurts to lift my right arm. 😅
