I will never fucking forgive Disney for making them cut down this show from everything it could have been. Everyone working on it is doing the most amazing job at still making it spectacular despite how much they have to boil it down. It doesn’t lose any meaning, any character development, or any message but they still had to give up so much that they wanted to do with it.

cecil gives so much relief to the town, helps them let go of the day, soothes them ♥️🥰🥺💖🥺 i don’t often think about peoples opinion of cecil— but its just true that the town loves him so, so much. they like him and like his show. they like that he gossips and that he overshares, that sometimes hes a brat .. that he has the ability to smooth over difficult topics…..

cecil knowing everyones business, and all business, is a comfort to them. to know their story is out there living in someone elses head to be shared…. can’t be forgotten in the fold of every day life. like…. how sweet and sad is it that cecil doesn’t look too closely at his own life and story, and instead busies himself in the lives and wellbeing of others?
