Beau chuckled softly, his smile warm and genuine. “You know, I think you might be onto something with the sweet and salty thing. I’ve got to admit, I was skeptical at first too, but it’s one of those things you can’t knock till you try, right?” He glanced at the fries and milkshake with a playful curiosity. “Alright, let’s see what all the hype is about. Hand it over—I’ll give it a shot.”
Taking one of the fries, he dipped it cautiously into the milkshake, his expression amused. “For the record, though, cheddar and bacon fries are sacred. Nothing beats that. But I get it—you’ve got to mix things up every now and then.” He popped the fry into his mouth, chewing thoughtfully before his eyes lit up with a surprised grin. “Okay, okay, I’ll admit it. This isn’t bad. Sweet and salty, who knew?”
He watched the other for a moment. "So, you enjoy eating human food, huh?"
"I think everything should be seen that way, unless of course, it's just something that you know for a fact tastes bad," he pointed out, some things you don't need to try it to know you won't like it. Some things are just naturally bad, or if the dish has an ingredient that you tried before and you know for sure you dislike, "Go ahead."
He enjoyed seeing people try out a food that he enjoyed a lot, but he wouldn't be upset if they disliked it. Everyone had their own taste, "You won't hear me disagreeing," he had yet to eat a fry that he thought was better than cheddar and bacon, but like the other said, it was nice to change things up a bit sometimes, eating the same thing every day is boring, "Told you."
He grabbed another fry, and dipped in the milkshake before eating, "Kinda impossible not to, no? It's one of the most amazing pleasures in life."
