It's a familiar feeling. When someone has watched you in the past, when it's light that's betrayed your presence, you made a friend of the darkness. You pulled your hat brim low over your eyes. You stepped behind the cover of a thatched wall. But those who watch you now watch in spite of such simple obstructions. Their sight isn't mediated by the rays of a gleaming star or torch but by something much older. If there are ways to conceal yourself from these seeing eyes, if there are new kinds of darknesses to befriend, you know nothing of them.

I know this is honestly an extremely strange post but We Know The Devil is a game I have adored for a very long time. When it finally came time for the game to release on switch I photoshopped myself a game case to put on my shelf.

I have made fanzines, I have the buttons, I own three different versions of the "Venus Shirt" that I wear frequently.

I love We Know The Devil. It has brought me comfort and joy and was one of the starting factors that made me want to write.

I thought I'd finally share the box art I made after years of having it tucked away with my other games.

Play We Know The Devil. It's only about three hours long with 4 different endings that are all easy to get. And since it's on sale, nows a better time than ever to get yourself a copy. I HIGHLY recommend WKTD. I think you might just love it too, perhaps it will change you.

Do you think the original Old One Eye is still out there? I choose to believe yes, because the logistics of getting him off world so many times is hilarious to me.

The Hive Mind has a single, small-scale ship designed for discrete atmospheric entry. Hybridised from Lictor genetics, it has several forms of conventional and psychic camouflage. It contains nothing except for a Carnifex-sized cargo hold and an enormous, chitinous claw on a meat string. The ship's entire purpose is to scoop up Old One Eye from worlds like a vicious plushie and then bring it to new ones, where it drops the creature off and departs.
