Tybalt Marr – Captain of the 18th Company

Last of my recent binge on characters for my Sons of Horus.

Overseer for my Sons of Horus. I'll likely run him as a fancy Sergeant or a random HQ.

A Champion for my Sons of Horus. Lots and lots of trim. My regular tacticals are so light on trim I forget that it can be maddening.

Can't stop won't stop on the Cities of Sigmar train. Very excited for their new book to come in the mail as well as a few new units. These Fusiliers were a bit of a slog, but I think they came out pretty great. I'm not looking forward to another 10, but I've got other stuff to get through first.

I've been playing more Horus Heresy lately and thats inspired me to push through some backlog of models. Mr Heresy himself Horus Lupercal has always been a scary model for me to approach but I'm happy with the results.

The backbone of any army is infantry. A unit of Steelhelms for my Greywater Fastness. Chipping away at all the plastic.

Such an iconic model from the first wave of Cities of Sigmar. Loved doing this pair up for my Greywater Fastness.

Might be the first Warhammer+ "free" model I've painted. I had a few of the others but either sold them or gave them away. These guys pushed me towards Cities of Sigmar and I'm happy for it. Marshal Ashfield and Squire Udo, who will proxy as a regular Freeguild Marshal and Relix Envoy.

Wrapped up after a long while my Legio Audax for Titanicus. I had four warhounds done for a while, but needed to do a set of the ones with new weapons and a set of plastic Dire Wolves. Love my little puppies, so fun on the table.

While I do like the new Cataphractii Terminators, these older ones really make the power fist look powerful. They feel more bulky and look like they're able to withstand some damage.

Last of my test schemes from this week. My traitor Mechanicum for Horus Heresy. I tried a stippling method for the armour. Its quick and adds a lot of texture. I love these fellas, but so complicated to build.

Test scheme for my Cities of Sigmar Greywater Fastness. Wanted a battleworn look from when they were attempting to seize more forest from the Sylvaneth.

Another squad finished. This time my second group of Justarean Terminators. This group has their legion weapon instead of power fists. Not sure how useful, but they look mean. Models are from Tortugabay. Really great HH sculpts there.

Hoping to do more (any) Horus Heresy this new year, so I'm going to manifest it by painting more Sons of Horus.

Back on the Skaven train this weekend and finished up this duo. I've always loved this model it was such a crazy leap at the time in terms of quality for Warhammer.
