if you’re like in your teens in the 2010s and you’re looking for manga 1/2 prince really was the shit. it’s also really problematic but there were so few other manga that had kickass female characters fucking up gender roles. reading it now it’s just Too Much for me in my old age and, again, problematic, but it really did say fuck you to the whole “now the guy saves the woman” climax.

lore olympus episode 86: horny for ares

 read it if you haven’t yet!! 

as per my last post this is about how horny persephone is for ares. Behold: angry persephone from the previous chapter. 

but!! Then she finds out it’s Ares, who she knows and has a past (??) with 

and then the vines disappear to be replaced with-----

back in episode 7 when she meets hades!!  

Also look at her blush here. persephone’s like “he thinks i’m interesting! no one thinks i’m interesting!”   

anndddd then ares takes it too far and she’s angry at him 

and her eyes get SUPER RED and i think at this point ares’ own aura of anger is taking her over because look at how smug he is. he likes hearing people’s anger. he’s like “yesss i got the cinnamon roll to yell at me i’m  PROFESSIONAL” but also notice that her vines are gone!! he has such sway over her emotions!! but she doesn’t detest him!! she probably thinks he’s sooooo annoying and soooo tall and handsome and who does he think he is, calling her interesting and taking her negative feelings seriously. 

anyway. ares is such an asshole holy shit he just yeeted a guy off the building and manhandles persephone and is in general rude. from what i can tell here persephone doesn’t feel uncomfortable in his presence and is frankly, horny. horny for anger. horny for war.
