I'm so fascinated by no one pointing out (and frankly surprised no one is making Yuri) of Eva and Ava? The doomed trolley lever pullers destined to sacrifice their own kind for the sake of the rest? The traumas and troubles of having to manage so many moving parts all while someone is screaming at you for murdering them all while trying to save what you can? All while this guy doesn't seem to grasp how much it pains you because you can't show that pain? Of course Eva had a level of care for Grace higher than Ava did for Simon but at the same time Ava still didn't want to do what she did to him. She never wanted to sacrifice the few humans left but she had to. Eva knew what had to be done and in a sense "wanted" to send Ryland but it was still more out of necessity for the human kind rather than just out of scientific pursuit or punishment. There's a whole toy box here with how similar they handle their sacrificial lambs. Eva and Ava my lamb slaughter gals. Eva and Ava my lever pullers.
