Where have twenty years gone?? On June 19, 2000 I walked into the world of Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Pharmacy Department. I was truly excited to start a new adventure and leave my nearly ten years of long term care pharmacy behind. I was 30 years old and raring to go. Over the last two decades I’ve worked with so many incredible people. I’ve had the chance to learn so much and devote my time and energy into doing something I love which is unit dose packaging medications for the entire hospital. It’s a job I created out of necessity and one I’ve taken much pride in. As with all jobs there are good memories and bad but the good certainly outweigh those not-so-great moments. Year twenty definitely looks much different from year one but I am thankful for all the years in between and all the years to come. I am blessed to have a job I love and will continue to give it my all.
