@fanofundertale
Playing pretend!
Happy anniversary.
idk go learn and play sudoku
Itâs been a while since I made anything, but hereâs Muffet! Thereâs a log of fine detail in this, so it took forever to get done. (Iâm very proud of the eye highlights, actually.)
((Hey, guys.
So Iâve been going through a LOT these last couple days, but what Iâll talk about is one thing I think you can help me with.
Iâve been struggling with confidence in my writing skills.
Or more like too much perfectionism. I keep worrying that what Iâm writing right now isnât good enough. I try to look at the comments on the first two chapters, the ones I wrote literally yesterday and the day before, but instead of cheering me up, they make me nervous because now I need to make sure chapter 3 lives up to them.
Do you know how I get over this?
Thanks, and youâre under no obligation to respond.
âMod IJT))
Yo, IJT! I thought I might be able to cheer you up a bit.
Writing is an incredibly  difficult thing to do, and it can be made even more difficult if youâre worried about pleasing an audience. I only really write for myself, and Iâve finished almost nothing, certainly not anything the length of a novel. There are scene changes more than chapters, even.Â
Perfectionism is something all writers and authors struggle with. I have a word of wisdom from MIB!Sans: âForgettaboutit.â Seriously. Donât worry about whether or not this chapter is any better or worse than your others. I promise, no matter how it turns out, there will be at least three beings who love it. (Your IB!Sans, my IB!Sans, and I will all enjoy it, I promise.)
Also, if youâre having problems with writers block because of this, go back to what originally inspired you. If that doesnât help, take five minutes (set a timer) and search for prompts thatâll help. (Iâd recommend OTP prompts, but only if you feel those will motivate you the most.) Taking your mind off of actually writing for five minutes can help you have more creativity. (Actual studies show this, but Iâm too tired to look up the TED talks I watched that talk about this right now.) Take your time, IJT. Haterâs gonna hate, and sometimes that hater is your own mind. Donât sweat it too much. :) And if I may give you a couple more words from MIB!Sans (as I know him the best): âYou can do it, doll. I believe in ya.âÂ
And tonight we know why Chara hated Humanity and climbed Mt Ebott.
Considering that itâs my headcannon that Chara fell down in 201X (and not Frisk) thatâs entirely possible.
So you said Chara's battle theme is Megalovania, but Sans' battle theme is also Megalovania. So is Chara's Megalovania a different version of it? (If so, can you link it? :3)
No no no⊠You misunderstandâŠ
Sansâ battle theme isnât Megalovania. Itâs âThe Song that Might Play When you Fight Sansâ. Megalovania is Charaâs battle theme because really, Sans isnât the boss of that battle. Heâs the hero. Chara is the boss.
I now have a new headcannon. Thank you, @askfriskandcompany
Alright so...
âŠThis fandom is quickly becoming an obsession, but Iâm unfamiliar with the larger part of the community.Â
SO. REBLOG IF YOUâRE AN UNDERTALE BLOG, AN UNDERTALE AU BLOG, AN UNDERTALE OC/ASK BLOG, OR JUST POST A LOT OF UNDERTALE CONTENT.
Iâm SELECTIVE, but Iâll give you a look, and maybe a Follow! Iâm looking for new fandom friends!â°(âáâ)âŻ
Sigh why doesnât my phone have a jetpack
Honestly, heâs being far too happy about murder.
Dancetale. Credit to @teaandstars for creating this marvelous AU!
((Saw a picture of an empty theater captioned, âLook at the people who want to date u.â
Now I want to see a similar picture, but the seats are all full of Sanses.
âMod IJT))
Bear with me for a second here...
Think about the Dancetale AU mixed with Steven Universe.
-Dance parties galore -Showing the Gems the difference between dance battles and soul dances -Undyne and Papyrus tagging along during Connieâs training sessions -Steven joining in when magic starts getting tossed around -Pearl freaking out -All of the Gems thinking that healing food is cool -Steven being secretly relieved about not always having to be relied on to heal -Torielâs Butterscotch Pie being the only food Pearl will eat -Alphys freaking out at fusion, until she realizes it spawns from the Gem version of soul dancing -The monsters meeting Stevonnie for the first time -The friendship between Frisk, Steven, and Connie. -Anime is pretty real -Dance battles -General fun times and saving the world.
Error forces Undyne to kill Alphys or Frisk. She refuses to kill, so Error kills her instead.Â
(This just happened in a game of hunger games. Error you sick twisted jerk. Undyne died valiantly.)
*Obligatory April Fools Post*
I promise that this isnât a rick roll.
Seriously, itâs time for a new joke. I thought this was fitting.
LV, HP, and XP Theory
So why do monsters have enormous amounts of HP if theyâre supposedly LV1?
In the game, the player can make Frisk stronger by ramping up their XP and LV. This increases Friskâs HP and how hard they can hit. But if the only way to hit harder and gain enormous amounts of HP is by killing, then all the monsters in Undertale would have had to be hurting and killing one another in order to be so strong. (And that includes Papyrus!) But what if âExecution Pointsâ and âLevel of Violenceâ werenât the only ways to become stronger?
With that line of thought, I present to you the stat classifications: XP: This is going to sound obvious but really: Experience Points. Undyne and Papyrus train together, and obviously monsters who are literally made of love and magic know how to fight. So what if they fight for fun?
LV: Level of Valor. (Think about it. Whimsun is a creature who, if you donât spare or kill them first, will literally run away in tears. Consequently, they are one of the easiest creatures to battle against. On the other hand, Undyne fights for all monsters, and sheâs one of the hardest monsters to go against.)
HP: a fan theory is that HP means Hope, or more extensively, Hearts Overall Persistent Emotion (Thank you @ebottpreservationsocietyâ). Now, thatâs great if youâre a pacifist, but then why does our favorite murder-child gain more by killing people? Another classification could be Hate of Persons Existence.
