Oh, yeah. I was definitely looking forward to reading a story where Times slowly loses his mind because the inn clock is six seconds ahead. The Chain has no idea what's upsetting him so much, so after he confesses to a bunch of things that might have upset him, they assume Times is angry with everyone in general.

Times has no idea what's going on, he just finds them a while later crying because their new father figure is disappointed in them.

I'll think about this and if I don't find something similar on AO3 I'll do it myself.

wait sorry for back to back asks (same rauru poster) but speaking of Kings I am actually a huge fan of how flawed King Rhoam was in botw. I think the hate for him is understandable but he DOES acknowledge he failed and realized his mistakes. He's a terribly tragic character (great king AWFUL father) that i think everyone writes off as abusive and thats it...I wish his fear for his kingdom and family was explored more...especially knowing that he KNEW he was being awful to Zelda but did it for the sake of keeping everyone alive....

There are plenty of valid interpretations for our LU boys, considering the malleable definition of "canon" in our fandom. I really enjoy the dynamics when I give manga-Shadow back to Four. But I also think that, for some of my preferred versions of Four, loss is a major theme of his life and his personality. (I won't write the essay here for now.)

I believe that Four is the kind of person who knows that things change. He doesn't have the same kind of resentment that Legend does about the fact, or hope that it will change like Twilight, but—due to the loss of so many important people in his life, and the inevitability of growing up and losing the Minish, and being one of the more forgotten earlier heroes—I do think he harbors a sort of deep melancholy and acceptance about the flow of time. There's just... a lot to be said for keeping Shadow dead.

remember, the first Pride was a riot, and she was one of the brave souls who endured it to help carve the path which so many of us walk today. she helped found several activist groups regarding LGBT safety and wellbeing. and she was absolutely radiant, too.
