Hihii! I am surprised to have a request before I even posted anything, but yes, of course! I will try my best. Feel free to send another req if this is not to your taste! I am a big John lover, anyway. Sorry for the late post. Saying you is going to feel silly, hadn’t done so in quite a while.

CW: none…? John is a warning, I guess.🩵 pure fluff and all. I’d say.
• It’s not that he does not CARE… It’s more like, he doesn’t mind. If he stays there in silence, the odds of you feeling confident enough to get overly affectionate were lower, that’s all.It meant everything can go at his pace!!!If he does not feel like getting anything, he could just walk away… and leave you alone to sulk about it, probably.
• At first he’d constantly avoid you. Just in case you somehow manage to figure out how to be affectionate in the “right way“ without feeling silly.
• Overtime he’d start humoring you. Besides, it made you happy when he initiates anything… And it wasn’t all that terrible to him either.
• “You’re stiff.”, and the like got a bit more common, not as critics, but statements. Hopefully, it could help you understand that he does not care how you hold him, or lay next to him… Truly, there was no specific ways for it, anyway.
• It had him realizing he’s not much better at this, either. The first hug you shared was SO awkward you could have died.
• Out of this, whenever you go anywhere, you can feel a bit less tense walking next to him. As long as you keep a respectful distance, he’s okay too.
• If you have to converse with somebody, he’ll find it amusing to see you trying your best to have a natural looking position. He does think it is silly to watch you attempting to find how to word yourself as accurately as possible.He does have a bit of a hard time understanding why you’re so clumsy with people, he himself does not care for others enough to relate. So what if you stand wrong, who cares? (you do, apparently)
• If you follow him around, though, he may find it somewhat frustrating and disappear for a bit… he values his alone time, he isn’t extroverted!
• He is allowed to find you amusing and endearing, however, if others comment on it too much, he probably would not take it well.
• Hopefully, after a while, you might start feeling less silly around him. You understand that there is no specific way to act, anyway! Maybe you can finally initiate stuff yourself!
• Overall… he kind of likes you being awkward, yes! And also likes you being clingy, as it gives him the option to choose whenever you can be lovey dovey!!
