((Basically: There was a charity volleyball tournament at FC’16. The team names were voted on by the crowd: Bad Dragon Bruisers and Bappy Paw Punishers. Merch was made with these parody teams to commemorate the event. Bad Dragon flipped out, sent a Cease and Desist to Teefury and the group organizer… over a limited time parody gimmick FOR CHARITY… then lifted the design and slapped it on their NEW SPORT JERSEY on top of being massively hypocritical for outright profiting MASSIVELY on their PARODY RIPOFFS of Zootopia, MLP, etc))

So I'm really happy to see BD doing another Legacy release but I'm really disappointed that they're all full price :(

BD’s been doing so much this week. I think they’re little jealous of the attention their competitors are getting, ha.

What confuses me about when they do legacy releases like this is presumably they’re retiring molds for a variety of issues (such as causing flops consistently) and also to have less molds to maintain. But then you can still order them at any time if you’re willing to pay an extra 50% extra? This means they are obviously keeping the molds around, meaning they are not saving space or anything. For the ones that don’t cause issues, why even retire them then (Moko, Luka)? For the ones that DO cause issues (Dolphin in particular apparently tends to be heavily flawed), they should not be charging more for something that they know will be a super flop. And those stock ones might have unlabeled issues, knowing how they’ve been treating people who paid EXTRA to get those legacy models.

Honestly I think they only retired some of them so they can bring them back periodically and make everyone throw money at them for fear of missing an opportunity to ever see the model again. Others kind of just need to stay retired or get redesigned so they will not be flop magnets.

Wait, what's going on with that last post? People accusing Bad Dragon of rape and pedophilia, huh? I thought BD Was AGAINST those things! At least, they refused to make 50 Shades of Gray-related stuff, after doing thorough research on the subject, from what I heard...

These are fairly old arguments from what I’ve seen on here and the BD forums (well, not the sugar star one). The models in question (just from these arguments) are Xar, Snowball, and Sugar Star. 

A lot of it is from the forums, and to be honest, I’m new to the community myself, so I’m not the right person to ask (I joined BD’s forums in June of this year)…But yes, when Sugar Star was first released, a lot of this came up, and that’s when I found out about the iffy descriptions for Xar and Snowball. Both toys I had zero interest in, thus my ignorance on the subject. After looking at their descriptions, and even Snowball’s art, I can easily see them being problematic. Snowball’s page squicks me out almost as much as Sugar Star’s and Bumble’s does. I can only imagine how bad they’d be/could be for victims of rape and abuse. 

Again, a lot of this can be found in BD’s forums (one place to find some of it is Sugar Star’s release thread, although some of the posts have been edited or deleted by BD mods).

The “no 50” thing was just a publicity stunt. They have non-con all over the place, they don’t give a damn about supporting safe sex. They have members of their forums supporting everything from dangerous toying methods to sexual harassment. And BD never does a single solitary thing about any of it. If you try reporting it they almost automatically dismiss it. They publicly stated anti-pedo/anti-rape is kink-shaming. One of the company owners has been accused of rape, bestiality, and I believe pedophilia as well.

No 50SOG was definitely a publicity stunt, after seeing the controversy and well received other companies were who said no to it. They then dropped hundreds of gray toys (some marbled various shades of gray) and continue to do so to cover their ass (something about “mold testing”, I think someone said). Gray was not, and still isn’t, a stock color or any such thing.

Nova and the Tentacle both are pretty rapetastic, also.

Pedophilia (and the associated various -philias involving other persons under the age of 21) are psychiatric disorders and anything involving these philias, from indulging it to drawings implying it, are illegal. It is not a kink; it normalizes the sexualization and harm of underaged people, as well as triggering REAL victims. To exploit it for financial gain and pass it off as a harmless, normal, acceptable “kink” is revolting and deplorable.

Rape is deeply (daresay, the deepest) violating, life-altering, traumatizing ASSAULT. The act is illegal, it is a crime against humanity, and a weapon in war. Sexualizing it normalizes these acts and triggers ACTUAL victims.

These are not normal or healthy fantasies. They should not be encouraged, and definitely shouldn’t be profited from. More importantly, these are deeply offensive and disturbing, making both, victims and the majority of normal, healthy-minded people, uncomfortable at the least. Your fucked-up turn ons and fantasies do not come before the safety and comfort of another person, let alone a large mass of people.

Anyway, on to your reply. Did you read my rebuttal to toosaltiquit or not? I agree entirely that pedophilia is a disease. However, there is a difference between liking the idea of something, and liking something. 

Saying that liking a drawing, or a silicone toy implied to be underage (which by the way, bd doesn’t have any toys under 18 as far as i know but ok) makes you a pedophile who fucks children is the same thing as saying being furry trash makes you someone who fucks actual animals. 

Rape is absolutely a horrible thing, and it is awful that anyone should have to go through that. Its unfortunate and shameful that we as human beings commit such acts against each other.

The shit that Bad Dragon puts in their stories isn’t rapeplay. It is not “lol ok babe pretend to rape me ok”. It is presented as actual coercion. But even so, the implication / idea of rape in any sense, including rapeplay, makes most people uncomfortable and triggers victims so that should be kept in arenas that focus on rape (this is true for any niche that is not widely accepted that the masses are repulsed by). A trigger warning is minimal and something Bad Dragon has refused to do. But a trigger warning shouldn’t be necessary because knowing it’s there is still upsetting to people, seeing a company they want to support sexualizing and making sales based on their trauma or even shutting them off from an entire product, and that’s not right. It should be a safe space for everyone. AGAIN, you can buy a thing and apply the fantasy to it yourself, in private, it’s not necessary to be used to sell the product line.

And according to your own words, it’s unacceptable. You say “It is not up to you to decide what is normal or healthy. I would consider that harm, just because it’s not physical does not invalidate it.

Would just like to point out that while rape play is a thing, it requires consent from everyone involved - just like anything else. And therein lies the problem. Subjecting anyone who reads those “product descriptions” to anything sexual, including rape scenarios, even if you argue those in said scene are consenting, does not mean that the reader has consented.

Furthermore, a product description should be just that; a description of the product. I’ve no idea why this has become a thing, but if you want to get your kicks from a story or provocative scenario, go elsewhere. These stories, problematic or no, shouldn’t even be there. There is absolutely no purpose to them whatsoever, and the fact that they are triggering people makes it a no-brainer. There is no excuse.

You should never have to see a trigger warning on a business’ website - how incredibly unprofessional, that a business would not only greenlight triggering material, but keep it there; even after many have spoken up against it, more than once. But what’s even more astonishing, is that people continue to defend it.

I don’t give a shit what your kinks are, who you are, or what gets you off - do not force it on other people. Do not put it where it can be seen by literally anyone; where people will actively go to look, expecting to see a description of a product they might want to buy. Because, you know, this IS a business. Not someone’s Tumblr, or personal kink-blog. It is not only off-putting, but a serious issue that should not be overlooked or brushed under the rug, and, good god, not defended.

However, it is more likely when replications of numerous well-known customs pop up at once. And especially if it’s ones that seem to pop up repeatedly every so often. But they have taken it a step further now - why just lift color inspiration when you can lift THE WHOLE GODDAMN TOY.

Bad Dragon: Make's a (tasteless) joke on Twitter and gets label raging muh soggy knees ticks. Sheepdicks or whatever the fuck their name is: Openly made fun of men who are self conscious over the size of their penis' but is still treated like a queen and has their shitty, godawful looking toys praised like a gift from God. Why do ya'll get on BD's ass for a dumb joke and turn a blind eye to a toymaker who literally said they take joy in making boys feel bad for their penis size. What the fuck???

Beyond the fact that Sheep specializes in making dicks in smaller sizes and therefore obviously does not laugh at dicks in smaller sizes, let’s compare the two situations.

BD makes an awful joke about women. People point out it’s a gross joke and incredibly awful to be posting on your BUSINESS TWITTER. Instead of apologizing they get hostile and antagonistic with anyone who implied they were out of line. Anyone who mentions they were out of line then gets people with their panties in a bunch about how it was just a joke and it should be let go. When BD never did admit any flaw or take down the joke. From their business Twitter.

Sheep made a joke on her personal Tumblr that was offensive to some. She publicly apologized. She took down the post. And yet people are still after her about it.

Yeah sure. She’s definitely more awful than BD. Meanwhile BD, by the way, has not changed anything that would be considered offensive to previous abuse victims, women, and any race that isn’t white.

I am so fucking disappointed and angry over this.

For people who don’t know- the creator of this toy gave the design to SW (a one man company who makes custom toys) to make ages ago. Only for them to change their mind and then submit the toy to BD only AFTER SW had gone to the bother of working on it and getting it ready. I EVEN PRE-ORDERED (and two other toys) with him and made a colour design for him to make.

BD apparently contacted him telling him he could not make it any more. Even though the creator submitted it to HIM FIRST.

BD then rewards this person by making it for them because that is just the right thing to do.

Shitting the little guy.

I srsly am just disgusted. Mostly in the creator but also I feel BD has become very seedy and cruel in what they have seemingly done here.

Please reconsider buying this toy knowing the history behind it now.

We should NEVER support this sort of greedy behaviour. Not in ANY type of market. Especially not dicks. I bet BD does not want anyone to know what happened here- and I seem to be the only fucker who has ANY clue. :I so show your kids, show wife and show your husband. You can run an’ tell that.

However, the fact is she said to SW that HE COULD MAKE IT and he went and did that. While it is proved he knew it was on BDs labs, he did not know that if they picked it he would not be allowed to make the toy it seems? And this is especially unfair coz he made it first???

Really it was the creators responsibility to tell him BEFORE he made it and stuff that he could not sell it or anything.

HOWEVER she has said that she will be giving him other designs for him to make as to try fix the situation. When I talked to him last he was very upset and hurt over this. I have not heard from him since and had no updates on my orders. Very worrying.

This is all still very shady and stuff but I will let others decide. :U

Can we talk about Bad Dragon’s ridiculous fucking prices for a minute?

I was looking through the adoptions and found a whole shitload of toys over the base price for ugly marbles and random blotches

BD literally charged an extra $2 for the splotch of orange on this one. They are so desperate for money that they are going to charge extra for small splotches the base of their toys

Extra $10 for a small splotch on the head

Extra $10 for this “rogue color”, a few months ago this would’ve been a frankenpour

“Rogue color” extra $5

Now I know that this would’ve been a frankenpour a few months ago and would’ve been discounted, the colors don’t even look good together. But instead BD decided marble it a little and charge an extra $15 for it.

As if BD’s prices weren’t already high enough, they learned that if they give their toys a bit of marbling they can charge above base price for it. They’re doing every thing they can to get as much money out of their customers as possible.

It’s really unfortunate that BD had to turn out to be such a shitty company. They have my favorite designs out of all the fantasy toy companies, and they’re also using my Wolf Dragon design. I’m really worried that when I start making my own toys they’ll find a way to use that against me since BD has shown that they don’t like competition

I’ve had a couple people ask me why I no longer post on Toypics and this is why. I blocked out my name and e-mail because that is my actual name and my usual e-mail. If you have issues reading the caps, message me and I will copy and paste the e-mails or something, idk.

Anyway, I used to post on Toypics under the name BoyWith2Holes, same as my QueerPornTube name. There used to only be Guys + Toys and Women + Toys categories. I would post in the Guys + Toys because I am a guy. They had added a Transgender + Toys category which I would also post in because I am a trans guy. Seems pretty logical.

Then I get an e-mail from the site owner, the same person who own Bad Dragon, that I need to post ONLY in Transgender + Toys. I get the reasoning that first, it’s because I am trans and people are complaining about there being a dude pussy in the guy tag. Their issue, not mine. Then, he backpedals and says it is based on ‘actual sex’. Well, my actual sex is male. Transgender is not an actual sex.

I break these points down very clearly and calmly in my e-mails to him. After the last one, I went to my Toypics account. He had deleted every single one of my videos for refusing to give into this cissexism. All of them, gone. That was the final straw. I deleted my account.

The idea that Bad Dragon is cissexist/transphobic is not unfounded. It is something I personally experienced and it’s one of the reasons I now do paid porn. They are also racist, and misogynistic. They also do not tell their customers of policy changes, refuse refunds for their company mess-ups, and so forth. If you want an alternative, I suggest Frisky-Beast, Damn Average (Etsy/FA) and Average (FA).

I sent this email last week to the CEO and person who took my original sketches. No one from Bad Dragon has responded. I’ve had no direct contact with them since Kamo refused to give me copies of my signed paperwork. 

I’m left assuming Bad Dragon just expects this to blow over and cause no real damage. Please, please for the sake of other artists and potential employees, don’t let that happen. I’m not the only person to have been stolen from, and so many people approached me in private telling me how terrible BD treated them. These people are terrified to go public. Don’t let this company continue to get away with treating people so abhorrently they’re scared into silence.  

Sometimes words aren’t enough, companies pay attention to numbers. Your money shows support, if you don’t spend it on shady companies, sooner or later they will notice. Will they shape up? who knows, but don’t give them a cent until they do.

I’m not trying to push you to ruin your blog’s aesthetic or anything, and if you’d like to silently show support, that’s fine too, but the more people who are warned the better, I’d hate for more people to fall into this business’s awful practices.

The sudden shift toward extremely tight leftover marbles is a response to me existing.

Forgive me, since I’m not familiar with the making of silidicks and if a technique can be “unique”, but is it possible they’re just responding to feedback? I’ve seen alot of criticism from what seems like everyone about how “boring” and “lazy” their typical marbles are, and how they should be more creative with Frankenpours AND your marbles are consistently praised and have become rather infamous. So if people are saying they love your marbles and want tighter, more involved/intricate designs and they’re doing that, is that really a personal attack? Or is there a way to create tight marbles while bearing no similarity to yours?

Cause it seems strange that they would suddenly attack you out of the blue? AFAIK you’ve been nice and respectful and if they had an issue with you, I feel like they could’ve banned you on the forums or like, given you weh surprise me toys instead of super awesome ones, right?

Well, it doesn’t have to be that they don’t like her personally/it doesn’t have to be that she did something wrong for them to do this. It reminds me a lot about the Chance marble change - which was made to pretty much be how EE does their equine products exactly. This isn’t the first time they’ve decided to try and take over the niche another company is known for…Did EE do something wrong for BD to do this? No, but they are likely trying to cash in on that market. The marbles that DA is known for can also be seen as them trying to cash in/take the customers that like the marbles she produces.

It’s not so much a personal kind of attack so much as a business attack. And that does affect her personally, but it had nothing to do with her personal actions. BD has a pretty large demographic and really think it’s a bit messed up for them to encroach on other smaller companies signature things, you know? It’s not even that they were ignorant of it, which leads the suspicion that it is an intentional act.

This is just my two cents at least.

There are a lot of things that happen that are “uncanny coincidences”, which really seem to be business/market moves to try to keep the focus on them when people’s eyes stray elsewhere for a microsecond.  It can come across as bullying when it seems to be done in order to steal away some of the original shop’s business or even worse, their right to list something.

DA loads up some inventory with some smashing marbles, people start to talk about them and share their buys… BD suddenly drops an asston of fancy marbles in a flop drop.

EE works on developing a horse/canine hybrid toy…. BD introduces the equiknot. (To this date the EE toy hasn’t been released, and I’m not sure of the status on it).

FB has The Chimera (now known as The Missing Link) as a Coming Soon item… BD revives an old toy (Chimera) for their experimentals… and FB pulls the listing for their toy even if it’s not even remotely the same… because BD has been known to throw legal stuff around and The Chimera already has history behind it.

Primal Hardwere introduces their line of wereable sheaths… BD drops their own and even snag the name wereable for it.  

FB releases a Mini size for a toy whose small was still too big for many people… and now BD has minis too.

I thought the term wereable was questionable after seeing Primal Hardwere’s stuff and then seeing BD’s stuff. But now seeing that yes, my suspicions were correct and all these other things just really makes me mad and really disappointed.

A company doesn’t need to rip off other companies ideas and shove them out of the way in order to succeed. BD does not have a right to try and monopolize the market.

Amazing how BD fans still think we are after them when all we do is call out BD on their bullshit. Nah, no one will throw stones at you if you buy from BD. Your choice. It doesn't mean BD isn't shitty, so people should deal with their lack of ethics and stop trying to pass as victims.

Yep. No one is going to attack you for buying from BD. But that doesn’t make BD’s actions any less wrong. If you don’t want to hear about why BD is wrong for whatever reason, that’s your business, but that doesn’t mean people should just sit quietly about it.

I will say that there has been a lot of arguments with individuals on the forums because of the SugarStar thing. But, when you are saying things like that on a public forum, you’re going to have to realize you will get criticism. It’s amazing to me they don’t want to be insulted for that but will literally insult anyone else for even opposing BD in the slightest.
