I saw a pro-choice comment saying “if Roe is overturned, then what are we handing over to our granddaughters???” well for one they won’t be aborted, so now you can actually meet them.

Friendly reminder Roe vs. Wade isn’t just about abortions.

If repealed it will allow states to have a say and know what medical procedures you have- to put it loosely.  That is the can of worms that will be opened because people blindly assume it’s only for abortions when in reality it’s about so much more- just like how people boycott planned parenthood when the majority of what they do isn’t abortions but shit like STI testing, family planning, etc.

By repealing Roe vs Wade you open the door and given other shit precedent.  No more gender conforming surgery.  Breast reduction for your back pain?  Nope.  It’s about keeping the government from deciding what medical procedures you have- if you don’t want an abortion then don’t get one, I’d like to be able to see a doctor without having to file paperwork with the state, thank you very much.
