I’m Farah, a young woman from Gaza living through unimaginable suffering. The war has brought famine, disease, soaring prices, and constant danger. We’ve been displaced multiple times, our home is damaged, and basic needs like clean water, electricity, and medical care are nearly impossible to find.
I was a medical student, but the war stole my education and dreams. I come from a family of seven, and while two of my brothers study abroad, I remain here, struggling to survive.

I am Farah, currently living in the completely destroyed city of Gaza, specifically in the city of Maghazi. My family consists of seven people. I have two brothers studying outside Gaza in Egypt. My sister is studying medicine, and my brother is studying English for business. I was displaced to the city of Deir al-Balah more than once due to the war. I am 21 years old. My life and future have been destroyed, and my studies have been interrupted. I was studying at the Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University in Gaza, and I wished to become a doctor and seek a better future outside Gaza City because of the war and occupation of my country, which has lasted for more than a year and a half. I am seriously considering leaving Gaza to complete my studies and build my future, but I will not be able to cover the costs of travel and study abroad.
