I think am falling... Falling hard...

For whenever you're around, all my pain seems to dwindle down to nothing. And all my sadness cease to exist. All my fears turn non-existent. For I get lost staring down your slanting coffee eyes. You light me up with nothing more than a text. Whenever I feel down, my heart longs for to be with you. For you are all it takes to make my day. That dammed smile of yours makes me wanna stay right there for forever. And someday I wanna think I will.

He took a careful step into the room. Cautious of the surroundings, not to disturb the air. The room was tidy and clean, which was a surprise in his line of work. "This is no ordinary homicide." He told himself, on the long way of his PI work he had learnt to take notes by talking down to himself. He looked around the room, prying around for something that would sniff out a clue later when it matters. He snapped the gloves into his hands and sat down near the bed and gently lifted the bedspread, ready to face the horror beneath it. The stink hit him on his face as he stared at the near rotten body of the 12 year old Justin. His calm demeanor was oddly creepy for the officers had puked at the sight. 8 years and still every single one hits different. He swallowed the gulp of shiver and looked carefully down at the child. The face was beaten beyond pulp and his maxilla was fractured and exposed. And his lips were torn apart in the middle. Like symmetrically perfect. "Amateur" He uttered. The clotted blood around the eyelids didn't take long to catch his attention. It took him a second. And a second later his pupils dilated. In surprise and horror.

I was never a polka dot person. When i see 'em, I just find them funny. I used to wonder how these girls even bear to wear something so hilarious. And also I couldn't take that as a nice style for it was just a work of a lazy 90 pound designer gobbling down his pizza and couldn't think of anything creative.

That is, Until that day. A blue polka dotted top paired with those insanely skinny leggins. It would've just been an another dress if it hadn't been on you. You stood 5ft 9 tall, feet away, eyes closed, With those plump lips chanting a prayer. While the blue polka top gracefully presented you, the sky white leggins flaunted those tender legs as you shifted from one to another. By when those eyelashes went up, showing off. I found myself falling all over again.

The sight of you glistening as you walk into the chapel, in the long golden skirt, setting sun alike. The way you graciously carried yourself through the gathering crowd, My eyes glued themselves on you blurring out all around. Those strands that escaped from the ponytail had curved along face to the perfect cut jawline. As I stood there mesmerized by your artistic beauty, like a bolt from the blue, your eyes met mine. As those crimson red lips curved into an alluring smile, my heart skipped the beat, savoring the moment.

A long corridor to go. The tv played an old movie from the 90s. 'Always your favorite'. He held her hand tight and told her. "Everything's gonna be ok. Whatever happens now, I won't let you go". He clutched her tight and dragged her across the ice cold marble floor. "It hurts" She mumbled beneath her breath. "Its okay. It's okay" He dragged her towards the door calmly. He had it all figured out. The calmness of the place was unearthly. The wrench on his left hand was soaked in her blood. Humming his favourite song, Leaving puddles of blood on the floor he kept going. Her bones were broken enough to make crackling sound for every pull. Her face was beyond unrecognisable. The life in her eyes were long gone and so was the human in him.

The pieces of the 60 year old clock shattered on the floor as I stumbled over it. I felt several deep cuts in my leg, but back on my feet I ran towards what I remember being the front door. I heard a scream from upstairs which shut down in a sec with a thump on the floor followed by a heavy one. Isabel. My mind pictured the mutilating practice. The faint stink of blood went up my nostrils. I put my pace up and ran trying not picture Isabel upstairs. Afterall, she just wanted to help. If only I had not let her. If I could get to my car I'll floor down the gas and will be out of here. I heard a scraping of metal from the staircase and some slow but steady footsteps. My eyes went watery from fear and blood. I will get out of here, I said to myself and dragged myself towards the exit. The scraping was getting closer as I was inches away from the door. It was as if I felt his breath on the back of my neck. 'If he was that close I wouldn't be having one' I told myself. The glass shard seared through my leg muscles. I winced in pain. Mustering up all I got, I reached the door, wind it open and threw myself out. 'I saw my car on the driveway. Only steps away from me. A light grin went up on me. The metal end glistened on my face for a second. I realized what was happening. For the last split second I widened my eyes, caught glance of the blood soaked sharp axe and let out a scream. Chop!!
