My regular commissions are closed for remodeling, but in the meantime, I’m doing some YCH for Valentine’s Day! I am opening 5 slots to start, and will open more when they’ve been completed. If you message me after the 5 slots have been filled, I can put you on a waitlist if you’d like, which basically means I’ll message you when a spot has freed up. I tend to work quite fast. -Payment is due before I start your piece, and will be sent via a paypal invoice. Inks may be shipped with a 5.00 shipping fee.
-Limited revisions: you may ask for revisions three times during the sketch phase. Once the inks are down, they’re permanent.
-I consider these a ‘soft YCH’. Details like facial expressions and changes to body language can be altered from the template, and are encouraged to be to capture the personality of your character or the dynamics of their relationships. They can also be of any height (within reason, they should be big or small enough to still be in frame), race (orc, elf, anthro, etc) , body type, or gender. But the general layout (the way characters are positioned in space) of the template will remain intact.
-My specialty is demihumans (orcs, elves, dwarves etc) and tabletop RPG characters, but I am also proficient with light mecha (Ex: humanoid robot races like Destiny’s Exo, people with mechanical prosthesis, etc) and anthropomorphic characters, though I tend to air on the side of naturalistic when I draw them.
-Characters must have a clear, visual reference. For these, I will not work off of written descriptions or photo reference compilations. A brief description of your character’s personality, and the relationship they have between characters they are being portrayed with, is also very helpful.
-You want a character from a video game, TV show, etc? That’s fine too! Your fancharacter and a canonical character? Also fine! If I’m not familiar with them (and I’m probably not because I live under a rock) be prepared to give me some context and reference material.
-Please tell me if you are uncomfortable with me posting your commission publicly, if you would like me to hold posting your order publicly until the 14th, or if you want to be credited in a certain way.
-It’s Valentine’s Day, and I totally get if you are going to surprise someone with a little gift. But be mindful - if you think the recipient may be uncomfortable with a stranger drawing their character or may be uncomfortable with any other step in the process (such as getting something mailed to them), maybe this isn’t the right thing for them.
-If an order is placed after February 7th (One week from Valentine’s Day) I cannot guarantee that shipped inks will arrive before the 14th.
-These are designed to not necessarily be romantic! The characters depicted can have some kind of platonic relationship. However, I will not draw something with romantic overtones between people who are related, or where one character is underaged. As a general statement, I will turn down material that makes me uncomfortable.
-It’s pretty hard to do this with busts in a YCH but people are creative, so just to air on the side of caution, no fetish stuff.
