Oh that’s it, well I wear that too. And nope, I don’t think it’s that big a difference, you’re welcome! You really mean it? Thanks Quinn, especially with this tie. Noope. :)
It’s a good thing-- that you do. I’ve always liked that. You’re welcome, Finn. Hah, you don’t need a tie to make that happen, silly. Uh-huuuh. :)
paleofinntologist:
Well I like to think I have an inside track into your insight. Wow, that does sound really good as a matter of fact. Aw well hey, thank you for that.
More so than anyone, I’d say. Doesn't it? Honestly, if I hadn’t known better, I probably would think it was a Reese’s shake. You’re welcome, Finn.
chefcohenchang:
Yeah, I guess that’s true. I wouldn’t have minded though. Or they could have come to me for suggestions, too. I probably could have wrangled a decent chef, at the very least.
Great plan! I think it should be something completely decadent and very bad for us, because weddings are usually all about the opposite and I’m feeling a little rebellious, particular about this food. hmmm…sweet or savory?
I know you wouldn’t have minded; it’s just the only logical reason I can think they wouldn't have asked. That, or maybe they were trying to be really cheap?
Ooh, I agree-- that sounds amazing, Tee! Hmm, I’m thinking sweet. Like, giant Belgian waffles with tons of toppings or something.
paleofinntologist:
I wear my bias on my sleeve… wait, is that the saying? But you’re welcome Quinn, and it’s the truth. Thank you, and okay red it is. Shh, it does not. :)
It’s that you wear your heart on your sleeve... but I guess that isn’t such a huge difference? Thank you, again. As always, you’ll be the most handsome there. Does tooo. :)
paleofinntologist:
Nah, I understood what you meant to say. A peanut butter and jelly shake? I’ve never had one before but now I want to! Oh man… breakfast food, yes! We so need this. Well, because Sam’s a really smart guy, that’s why.
Good then, you always seem to get me, Finn. Yes! It sounds odd but it’s pretty good. Kind of tastes like a Reese’s cup but with a little fruitiness. I guess so; you’re both pretty smart though, you know.
cityboyevans:
Just know I won’t judge you if you do have purse snacks. Mostly ‘cause I figure you’re gonna share, but also ‘cause it’s a great idea. What were you expecting?
Promise? Because I just may do that. What’s something not noisy though that I could sneak in? That part might be tricky. Well I mean, we’re in the Hamptons! Something sub-par, at least.
chefcohenchang:
Ugh, I couldn’t agree more. As a chef I’m almost offended by the offerings at this place. Makes me wish we just rented an apartment nearby so we could do our own cooking. It would totally worth the hassle compared to this.
Pre-wedding food sounds like a good idea. Probably should bring provisions and stuff them in our purses if we can. It’s gonna be a long day.
I was wondering what you thought of it, Tee. Very true, and it would have been infinitely more delicious. Maybe they just didn’t want to make their friend work on their special day though?
Perfect! I’m down for anything. So we’re all in agreement about that then, but I’ll have to be stealthy. What are some stealthy snacks?
paleofinntologist:
Well that’s true, lucky for me you’re the best personal shopper around. Thank you again, Quinn, you’re the best. And you do? Wow, well okay then, I trust your judgement so I’ll go with the blue! Maybe you didn’t, but that doesn’t make it a false statement. You’re welcome. :)
I think you may be biased, but thank you for saying so. That’s very sweet. You’re welcome, Finn. Yeah? Great choice then! Red is definitely my next favorite though. Yes it does-- hush, you. :)
paleofinntologist:
I don’t think of it as snobby though, that’s just practical and I totally agree with you. Right? It’s nasty, and yuck, the eggs too? I can be ready to check out breakfast somewhere else right now if you guys are? Not that I’m saying no to snacks either.
Okay, good. I was afraid that might come off more rude than I’d meant for it to. It is. Now, peanut butter and jelly shakes, however, are delicious. Me too. I could use some awesome pancakes about now. Or French toast! Sam said the same thing-- why am I not at all surprised?
paleofinntologist:
Seriously, you actually did? You really are the fashion wizard, Quinn. I don’t know how you knew to think ahead like that, but thank you! Well it’s a dark grey suit, so just about any color I think would be okay. Maybe red or blue, stick with a primary color? Of course I’ll defer to your tastes, if you think another color works? I’d believe it, you’d make anybody look better standing next to them.
Of course I did! What kind of personal shopper would I be if not? I don’t with all things, but when it comes to fashion, I’ve got you covered. I have both, though I favor blue on you most. However, all colors look great on you. Oh hush, I didn’t mean it like that and you know it! But, thank you, Finn.
paleofinntologist:
Sorry Quinn, but we all know you’re one of those people. You aren’t wrong though, it really wasn’t very good. Somehow the waffle maker managed to cook the outside of the batter but left the insides just as runny. I don’t really like drinking waffles with a straw. I’m down for that, I’m sure it’ll be better but I don’t really like taking chances with my stomach.
What? Finn Hudson, I am insulted. However, I’m glad you and Sam both agree with me; makes me feel less snobby about it. Ew, really? No, waffle shakes don’t exist for a reason. I’m sorry about that. Pretty sure the eggs were just as runny. Same here, you know? Or I can pack snacks, lol.
cityboyevans:
I thought it was just me. You’d think it would be better since y’know, it’s the Hamptons but I guess that was askin’ a lot. You think the wedding food’s gonna be bad?
No, definitely not just you, Sam. Maybe that’s why I’m a little disappointed; I had high expectations and all. I sure hope not, but now I’m bracing myself just in case. Maybe I should sneak snacks into my purse; though that feels tacky.
Not to be one of those people, but the continental breakfast here is lacking. Even I can make better coffee, and well... you all know how great I am at that. I think we should all go out before the wedding and find something better, just in case the food tonight isn’t any better.
paleofinntologist:
Um, I don’t suppose anyone knows where I could pick up a tie here last minute? I could have sworn I packed a couple of them before I left, but I’m looking here and can’t find them at all. And the last thing I want to do is be that guy at a wedding who tries to look too super casual about everything and wear a suit without a tie.
You’re in luck, Finn. I ended up bringing some with me just in you or Sam spilled on yours or for some last minute fashion emergencies. I think this constitutes as one. I have several. What color do you need? For the record though, I bet I could help you pull off that look.
cityboyevans:
That’s the best time to critique him, he’d be too caught up on his crush, he’d take any suggestion. But thanks for thinking I’m not completely hopeless in the fashion department.
I didn’t think of it like that! Here I was, trying to be nice. Hah, you’re welcome, Sam. Trust me, if you were, I’d tell you.
