BEC + BRIDGE RETURN TO AFTERPAY AUSTRALIAN FASHION WEEK SCHEDULE FOR HEADLINE DESIGNER SHOW
SYDNEY, 9 MARCH 2022: BEC + BRIDGE announce their return to the Afterpay Australian Fashion Week schedule for the headline designer show: BEC + BRIDGE presented by Afterpay. After a two-year hiatus, BEC + BRIDGE will present the label’s Resort 22/23 collection on opening night, Monday 9 May, in an industry show at 7:00pm at Carriageworks in Sydney. Consumers may purchase tickets to an encore presentation at 8:00pm, directly following the industry show, at aafw.com.au.
BEC + BRIDGE celebrates a milestone 21 years in business in 2022. From humble beginnings, the creative duo behind the brand, Bec Cooper and Bridget Yorston, have made a profound impact on the fashion industry - both in Australia and Internationally. Proudly owned, operated, designed and produced locally, BEC + BRIDGE have successfully infiltrated the local and global market through a network of premium retailers and leading international celebrities alike.
This year marks the brand's 15th Australian Fashion Week runway presentation, since making their debut in 2004 after being invited to show in IMG’s Next Gen presentation. From there, BEC + BRIDGE has evolved into one of Australia’s most renowned and successful fashion exports, and has a long-standing relationship with both IMG, the organiser of Australian Fashion Week, and Afterpay.
