I finally got around to rerouting and styling my Vintage Dolly Parton doll.
She had an unfortunate accident that melted her original hair…
I’m not 1005 happy with how the hairstyle turned out, but I don’t know how to style hair - so it’s good enough for now.

I like the fluffy faux fur hair, but I don’t like how Hasbro applied it.
She has sort of a fabric mullet that is hard to style around. I took some pictures and tried to highlight the seams in the fake fur to show what I mean.
Her hair is also kind of thin on top and the fake fur sheds easily.

I’ve been avoiding these because I don’t like spending that much on blind bag style things. Some of them popped up at one of the discount stores for about $7, so I thought it would be fun to get one. I thought I would be mildly disappointed and my curiosity satisfied,but I actually really like her. I want more, but I don’t have space more dolls. I’ve been trying to let go of things and make my collection smaller and more manageable,and this isn’t helping...
