TUTTOTOSCANA FASHION LEATHER WORKSHOP

Florence University of the Arts is pleased to offer a unique workshop on Florentine leather arts, with the support of its fashion department FAST. This workshop will introduce a hands-on exploration of creating a contemporary leather pochette by utilizing the traditional techniques of one of Florence's historic crafts. A video tutorial featuring FAST professor Francesca Mocali focuses on traditional sewing techniques to create an accessory for everyday use. A step by step guide will aid the workshop participants in the creation of the pochette.

Yesterday we hosted a Leather Workshop - Aperitivo at Fashion High School of NYC with Tutto Toscana program! We've shared our leather perspectives and have worked hands-on with HSFI students, and we had a delicious Italian meal together! But ALL of our friends and followers can become leather insiders, with this exclusive tutorial available online!!

My inspiration comes from elements, motifs, and art that I grew up with. I’m really inspired by the 1910-1920 influence. This is why I choose the looseness and softness combined with a rich century. About me: My family and I moved to the United States four years ago to Cincinnati, Ohio. I had attended University of Tehran but never finished because of the move. My passion is fashion design. I have had experience with lots of different types of art but fashion design was always my passion.
