he tenses a bit more at her words.     unwell? he… he didn’t even consider himself like this. his mind negates the term, sharpening the guilt knife instead  ——  he’s making her worry without a reason, making her think he’s not feeling good. his hand rises, as to anxiously wave her words away.

« oh, no, no, i-i-i’m feeling good, princess, really! y-you don’t need to worry about… ». his words slowly fade into silence, gently interrupted by sara as she points at the fallen log as a place to rest. khelada sighs silently, more an attempt to keep on breathing than anything else, really. why is he feeling so nervous, all of a sudden? though knowing hers is a request, his mind can’t but register her words as a gentle order. so he nods, regardless of him not wanting to rest, wanting to keep his mind busy, and heads to the log with her, adding just a simple: « … yes, princess. »

Too late, she made up her mind. We are sitting down and resting now, wether he liked it or not. It’s not exactly an order, she knows she has no control over him whatsoever nor she wanted him to feel forced to do anything, but before he could nod she already made her way to the log.

However, she takes a moment before speaking up again. Lets him sit, rest a while. Appreciate the silence around them.

“...I’m not the best person to talk to, I know that” which is the truth: when you grow up either surrounded by yes men or people who don’t like to talk that much, it’s hard to make someone open up with you “But... if you need to talk about something, I’m all ears. I couldn’t help but notice that you seemed... lost in your thoughts.”

She couldn’t keep that thought for herself. Khelada smiles. Khelada jokes, laughs, answers with so much warmth in his voice -- and yet, those eyes of his are somewhere else. 

Somewhere darker. Somewhere distant.

Frowning and tilting her head to the side, Sara waits for him to find the right words, before just... sighing.

“Don’t apologize. It’s not your fault if you’re not feeling well.” 

This said, the princess takes a few seconds to look around, stopping on her tracks. They walked for enough time, for what she cared... and a nearby fallen log looked good enough to have a proper chat.

“Come here. Let’s rest for a while.”

#PSD004 - A COLD SUMMER. This psd goes with most scenes, however you may have to tweak the brightness a bit ( depending on the lighting in the scene ).  This psd is one of my favorites,  as it highlights the reds, pinks and cyans in the icon.  I would appreciate it if you could throw this post alike or areblog if you’re downloading  !  If you’ve got any questions,  feel free to hit me up  !
