I'm putting together a document for my Sims 2 Medieval BACC ruleset, heavily inspired by @teaaddictyt's Medieval Charter Challenge and @tedsies' rules. I have 21 pages so far and I'm not done.

Is anyone going to actually read my ramble about old timey pixel people? 😂

By the way, check out my Sims 2 blog @melsie-sims2, I'll probably start posting medieval content again soon. I planned my 'Hood out this time (I bought SimCity 4 to do a sc4 terrain and it's pretty much EXACTLY how I want it... which is good because I spent 5 hours on it.)

I've also organized myself way better - so hopefully I won't get overwhelmed after two rotations and quit. I REALLY want to get deeper into Sun & Moon stuff, and actually have really nice builds that aren't peasant hovels or literal campsites in the woods!

Okay... so Michael arrived at the beach where Mel was spending her evening.

They ended up talking for hours, and Mel actually managed to befriend him. She also found out more about him, like the fact that he loves fitness and is talented with technology.

He's not Solene, whose personality was perfect for Mel in every way, but I think he's compatible enough! I can imagine them working on their computers side by side for hours.

I think Mel might pursue him after all.

Mel changed into the outfit she bought the other day at The Armoire and headed out to explore the town a little more.

She stopped at a fun little fast food joint that sold poutine and met a really cute girl there that may or may not be a new dating option.

I think her name is Shania? I'm terrible at keeping track of everyone's names and personalities.

(Side note, I really love "possibly Shania's" hair. It's probably my favorite in the whole game.)

Michael left, and Mel decided to spend the rest of her Saturday afternoon doing some painting.

She managed to finish two and leveled up her skill a bit. We'll see the second later, I ended up keeping it since it matched her bedroom décor pretty well.

This one Mel decided to sell for profit.

I was beginning to lose hope in Mel and Michael's relationship development.

After talking for hours and hanging out together around the apartment, they were still just acquaintances. Mel still didn't know his talent, or his vibe, or anything else about him.

Wrapping up the evening with 2 hours spent in front of the TV, which was one of her wants.

This feels very accurate to my real life, although I haven't had a clunky box TV in over 15-20 years.

I'll get her an upgrade soon enough! They've got some nice flat screens in build mode!

With her first paycheck, Mel treated herself to a solo date at a nice restaurant called The Cellar Door.

She didn't talk to anyone there, but I did look around and see some familiar faces!

I wish Paras would socialize with each other in the world a little more. Sometimes they do, but mostly they just wander around by themselves. In this situation, everyone was eating alone.

But now I want some pasta IRL...

Mel was still in a pretty good mood, so she didn't head home right away after work. Instead she headed to the flower shop, hoping to meet Solene there.

She was not, but Mel did find someone else she really wanted to talk to. His name is Michael, and that's all she managed to find out about him.

Socializing with Paras takes forever. I've played way too much Sims, because I just wanna spam interactions and become romantic within 5 hours of knowing a stranger...

No, but seriously, I genuinely like that it takes longer to build relationships. That's actually a lot more realistic. You have to put in the work in this game!

Mel got herself a job as an illustrator and today was her very first day at Parallel Studios!

She had a pretty good day - and look at that work performance! Her graphic design and art skills are pretty high, and she was still in a pretty good mood when she went in.

Now let's see how high up in her career she can get before I find her a partner to settle down with!

So Mel met this florist named Solene while at the flower shop earlier and invited her back to her place so they could get to know each other better...

Guys, I think I might've found Mel's future wife... The only issue is that she's dating Kian, the guy Mel made a logo for on her first day in town. I don't want Mel to be a homewrecker... maybe I'll have her keep looking...

She's SO pretty though, and has such a nice personality that compliments Mel's very well... I guess they could just be best friends...

Mel still had about 2000 paradimes left, so she could splurge a bit and do some shopping! Why not?

She ended up buying the outfit in the last photo: the white tank and beige pants is totally something I'd wear IRL, so maybe Mel can wear it too... maybe for a date night.

She also visited the flower shop and antique furniture store, but I didn't get any screenshots. I love this area of the town so much! It's perfect for an artsy Para that loves all of the things I love.
