i’m calling it right now, between the emphasis on thatcher’s guilt over following orders and letting mark die and how much sarah hates him for it, and thatcher’s gut wrenching and repeated guilt over having ‘run away’ from the murray house where ruth died even if i’m 99.9% sure she was already dead when he ran i would bet every dime i have that in vol 5 or 6 thatcher’s going to die, likely protecting sarah, probably with a harrowing eddie munson-esque ‘i didn’t run away this time’.

and i’m nowhere near emotionally ready for that.

After receiving a dishonorable discharge with a trial that was dismissed, Hale began working as a mercenary for hire. 

General Andrew Davies hired Hale to track Jamie Campbell and her team in 2017. Following the events that quickly followed Davies’ death; the drop of the TX-gas, and the sterilization of mankind, Hale settled down in New York with renowned author, Campbell.
