do you ever just get a little teary thinking about treating your f/o the way they deserve to be treated… maybe they’re really alone in canon and they don’t have anyone to rely on or take care of them… maybe they have a shitty backstory and they’re used to verbal or physical abuse. maybe they’ve never had a relationship based on mutual care and loyalty, or maybe they’ve never had a partner that made them a priority.
and you can just… fix that… just by loving them… you can get them small gifts just cuz you were thinking of them and watch their eyes go all wide. you can hug them randomly and feel them stiffen in your arms before melting into you with just so much relief and affection. you can call them sweet names or compliment them for a job well done and see them blush, watch their surprised smile grow too wide to conceal. you can take care of them… you can teach them that they’re worth more than they think they are. that they’re worth everything. that they matter

how to commission artists on crepe (a selfshipper's guide)
crepe is a korean commissioning site similar to skeb, where you can more accurately search for artists & communicate with them during the commission process! unless you understand the language, i highly recommend getting a translator extension on your browser that makes the process easier, and using a translator for all your communications.

2인 / 3인 (two people, three people)
가챠 (gacha, some artists define this differently, but these options are budget friendly and can be finished quickly!!)
process
the process follows these stages: application -> payment -> receiving the art -> confirming the art -> finishing the commission. if you request a revision, artists will either resend the "receiving" notif with the revised art, or ask you to confirm and then send the revised art with the "finished" notif.
when you find a commission you like, pressing apply takes you to the application page where you'll answer a questionnaire the artist made that usually asks for references, pose ideas, and any info about the character they should be aware of. you do not pay at this stage. after clicking apply, crepe might ask you if you'd like to "verify" your identity- click "no," as it can only be done with korean IDs. you do not need to verify your identity to commission people.
afterwards, you'll see a chat opened up with you and the artist. this is where you'll get your updates, and you can also chat with the artist if you need something revised. you pay when the artist sends a payment request with a quote. the unit "P" in the prices are 1:1 with korean won (KRW). it'll ask if you'll pay directly, or with points (P). though there's preset amounts of points you can buy, you can also buy the exact amount needed by inputting the number in the blank top option. (i know they take paypal, but i haven't explored if there's other ways people overseas can pay.)
after payment, the artist can send you a notification when they start working. once everything's finished, you can choose to leave a tip (which can only be the same amount or less than what you paid) and the option to leave a review d=( ᵔ ᗜ ᵔ )
words & things to know
a few artists will not do certain medias. you might see the phrase "commission-banned" or something similar, where they won't draw certain medias because of copyright laws i think. (this are usually HYV games, but they'll often give a list of examples if they mention it)
here is a thread i found where the OP talks about artists who can draw their character's darker skintone accurately, with examples.
"C/P": couple pairing
omakase: "i'll leave it up to you"; some artists ask for just a basic idea of what you want. often seen in gacha commissions if not their own posts. (a variant i've seen is "outfit omakase," where the artist designs an outfit for you!)
SD / MD / LD: the size of the character, separate from headshot / fullbody / etc. SD is a chibi, LD is a drawing with accurate proportions.
"fast closing": they'll finish your commission quickly! you can filter your search for this tag too, as well as "deadline on the same day." keep in mind the timezones!
